  • Hcg levels doubling, could it still be ectopic?

    I'm 5 weeks pregnant. My Hcg levels were around 200 on 9/22, 600 on 9/26, and 6200 on 9/30. They seem to be rising appropriately, but my doctor wants me to come in tomorrow for an ultrasound to confirm it's not ectopic. I'm not having any pain or bleeding or anything, but I can't go for the ultrasound until Monday. Is he just being cautious or should I be worried?
