3 Rd gear not engaging bands adjusted 72 inch pounds front and rear just 2 1/4 for front 4 turns for rear. Throttle pressure adjusted and line pressure adjusted 5 turns from the plate all out to in. T.V cable adjusted 1 mm slack at idle and no bindage. 1 to 2nd firm along with reverse and crisp no slipping.

I see on my brick scanner it's say -40 F. I am trying to figure out why it won't engage 3rd gear. I am also not building governor psi either. It's hard to do look at scanner and drive you know and at night. I took it up to 4000 rpm let off the throttle and it still will not shift to 3rd even in drive. It did it before I installed the trans go shift kit street performance. Fluid is clean and full shift into 2nd firm and reverse is ok. Park to drive is snappy and I think it has to be the temp sensor not allowing it to go to the highest gear. It happens in 42 re with overdrive it won't engage O.D. With the temp being so low. So any help where I can troubleshoot or locate the temo sensor it might be where the governor or lockup solonoid is but not sure and I can t find any research on it.

I am thinking of diesel and automotive already know OBD2 systems and rebuilt a engine or two. Also so they show how to rebuild transmissions? Thinking of joining and wondering how much they make $ wise during school and do they help find decent paying jobs or offer any jobs at all. Any advise would help

If I was to already have the car only. What does fuel system,engine (Stroked and Weiland blown 871 ) big block with transmission junkyard much as possible cost with me doing it myself.

But if he asks me to paint his House and I provide materials and paint and he will pay me back. On top of the labor he owes me. Does that consitute me as a indepentant Contractor?

Say if I paint my neighbors House but he asked me to do it cheap and will pay for materials. There for he the employor. But if I suppy the paint and materials am I acting like a independent Contractor where labor board would not help me out if I didn t get paid.

I replaced the PCM and speed sensor. I getting a P0500 code. I tested the dash all gauges work. Transmission shifts to soon and odometer and speedometer don t work. What else can I test?.

It has a rough idle, worse now to where it stalls in drive only or reverse. If I accelerate it stumble to it gets to 2500 rpm then smooths out. I check for vacuum leak. None. My next guess is the EGR valve is stuck. I just cant find it or even know if it has one really. Nothing by the exhast manifold or collector. Any sites that show it or guess where it might be will be apperated.

Its a 2002 wrangler 4.0. Is it the BCM or the speedometer sensor by the transfercase.

Is it a BCM OR A TRANFER CASE SPEED SENSOR SWITCH.

Military's cheap way of saying thank you. Actions speak loader then words. Give Money. Care packages to loved ones whatever buy them a car when they get out. Only seen 1 true person say they care and cost them the shirt off there back but bought him a truck when he got back from deployment. We support jobs for vets but only give 10-12.00dollor an hour jobs. People say they care but don t prove it or do they with money and I don t see it?

In the military when someone dies for heroic behavior saving someone life in turn losing you own they award Medal of Honor. What good does it do when the person is dead. What if they award it when their alive is it good for a brownie and a tic tac a least. Or is it just the same as a badge that everyone goes woo aww wow..... what a soilder or whatever. IS IT REALLY WORTH SOMETHING LIKE MONEY? MONEY AT LEAST IS FAIR IF A PERSON IS CRIPPLED FOR LIFE.
