The only real lyric I know is something like, "I work for daily rest just to rest for daily work". I have tried googling every combination of these words and the song doesn't come up.

So I have an ex boyfriend who is in his mid 20's as am I. We were together for a year and a half, then he left, then came back and we dated for a couple of months before he told me to stop waiting around for him because he found a new girl. So this new girl is fresh out of high school. I'm not going to get into the details too much but from what I hear she won't stop talking about me. She asks him about me all the time, what we talk about, tells him that she thinks I'm cute, wants to know what I think of her, wants to know what we do when him and I hang out...

The worst of it is she is trying to start crap with me on Myspace. How do I get this stupid girl to leave me alone?

So I have noticed a pattern... in my dating life.

I will be approached by a guy, end up dating him for a significant amount of time, and just when it seems things are all going well I get dumped, for whatever "legit" reason. I'm not a pushy girl, and I know I don't try to get things to move along too quickly, and I sure don't act "clingy". I have learned from past experiences.

Anyways, EVERY time, they use the line, "we can still be friends" which in my world means, "I'm trying to let you down easy, but really I will probably not even think of you again."

A few days go by, and I move on. I don't try to contact them, because obviously they left for a reason, and probably don't want to hear from me. Then, out of the blue, they call me, just to talk, like nothing happened. What the crap?

So my question is, guys have you done this before? What kind of girl was she? And most importantly why?

I just want to get some outside perspective.

I have been dating a guy for a month and a half. About a week ago we talked about our "status" and we decided to keep it at dating for now because he's leaving soon, because he's in the Army. He calls me every morning, and almost every night, and we text A LOT. We have completely different schedules so we see each other as much as we can. He respects me and my opinion, and never tries to force anything on me.

The problem is I am totally falling for him. I can't help it, but there is that internal battle about him leaving. Should I tell him what's going on with me and hope for the best? Or should I keep my mouth shut?

So just to be clear, he is not my boyfriend, he is just a guy I have been seeing for about a month. He is really bummed about some stuff that is going on at work and in his life. He calls me all the time, but lately he's just been really bummed out. Is there anything I can do for him to make him cheer up? Or should I just let it blow over and just listen when he needs to vent?

Ok I'll try to keep this short...

So last Saturday I met this guy. We went out for coffee then went to his place to watch DVDs. Nothing notable happened except that we kissed. On Sunday he texted me and started the conversation with me and said that he really wanted to see me again. He said later this week would be best because his shifts got changed as a security guard at a company, so he works 11pm-6am now. I work 7am-4pm.

It is now Wednesday, and I did talk to him both Monday and Tuesday, but still no set date and time for the next meeting. Should I ask, or just leave it until he is ready to ask me?

We are both 24 by the way... I know it sounds high school, but ya know...

Everyone keeps talking about how because we elected an African American president we are less divided, yet people are just throwing it in everyone's face as being racist when people ask why everyone is so obsessed with his color. Good for him overcoming obstacles to get to where he did. I know he had to go through a lot. But please stop pulling out the race defense. He's president, he's black, he made history, can we leave it alone now? Why is it such a bigger deal now than it was before he got elected?

For the past 3 or 4 nights I have been having dreams about my ex-boyfriend. He broke my heart about 2 weeks ago. But, I've been having dreams that everything was back to normal. That we were all over what happened, and that we were happy together again. It is so real that when I wake up in the morning I have a smile on my face.

What does this mean?

Seriously, there is not one question about the election that is nice. Everyone is attacking everyone else. I hate how this country has come to this. I have tried hard not to read the questions but when there are so many it's not easy to just breeze over them when so many people are making false accusations about ALL the candidates. Does anyone agree with me?

What are some good chord progressions for an upbeat acoustic song? I know this sounds corny, but my boyfriend is really into music and I know he would love the thought that I even tried to write him a song. I don't need anything complex, and I have a high school education of music theory. Any ideas?

I used to work at a place where I had to transport lots of sticky crap, and unfortunately I spilled a bunch of stuff on my passenger seat of car. I have dark gray interior, but the seat is almost brown from being so dingy. What products could I buy that would help to clean this seat?
