I drive a 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 V8. The past few weeks it’s been acting up. When I’m stopped at a stop light, the RMPs drop to around 300. I can feel it stuttering, almost like it’s going to stall out. Has O’Reilys run a diagnostic on it, and they said it was an O2 sensor. So I replaced it.

The car ran fine for a few days, but today it got even worse. It did the thing where the RMPs will drop really low, then when I just tapped on the gas peddle the car took off. Then when I began to slow down again, the RMPs went all the way to 0 and the car stalled. I have no idea what this could be.

Symptoms:

-Very low RPMs while slowing down and while idling (200-300)

-random RMP surges

-car died while slowing down for a stop light

-car shakes and sputters while accelerating

-feels like it takes longer to get up to speed. Almost like driving into a strong headwind or pulling a trailer

-I seem to be going through gas very fast

I drive a 2000 Dodge Dakota and lately its been overheating at random times. It over heats when I drive short distances, shut off the engine, drive another short distance, shut off the engine again, and drive again.

Like I'll drive to the grocery store, then to the gas station, then when i turn the engine back on the temperature gauge goes all the way up until the indicator light comes on. So i immediately shut off the engine, then turn it back on a few seconds later and the gauge starts going back down to normal temperatures. What could be causing this.

I'm not sure if its actually overheating, because once i see the heat indicator light come one, i **** off the truck, then when i turn it back on everything goes back to normal.

BTW, coolant levels and oil levels are both fine

So I harvested my first deer the other day and this weekend I ll start grounding a bunch of meat. What should I mix with it? I ve heard of a lot of people mixing the deer with pork shoulder, beef fat, and 80/20 ground beef. Just wondering which is best.

And what ratio of deer to other meat should I do?

So I've been talking to this girl since October. We met through a mutual friend and we've been talking ever since. The talks have been great. Sometimes we text or snapchat for 3+ hours a day. She has really become one of my best friends and favorite person to talk to. We've only hung out twice because we're in college so we're both always busy with work or school, but both times we hung out it was really fun. I really like her and want to ask her out on a date, but I also don't want to get rejected and ruin our friendship.

So basically what I'm asking is, how do I ask her out in a somewhat subtle way? I don't want to just say "hey do you want to go on a date" because it seems too straight forward. I know it sounds weird and I should be straight forward, but I feel that giving her more room to answer instead of just "yes" or "no" might be better. Thanks!

I bought an aux cord for my 2001 Dodge Dakota a few weeks ago and it seems like each time I plug it in, my check engine light comes on. Could the aux cord be causing this or is it just coincidence?

I am brand new to dove hunting. I went out on opening day and did quite well. I was thinking about going out this weekend for more. What kind of habitat will the doves be in this time of the season. Is hunting grain fields still good, or have they moved on to other areas. In other words, where should I focus my hunting?

How bad is it to dip occasionally? I realize that it isn't good for me but living in a small, rural, farming town, the stuff is pretty hard to avoid. I am not a heavy user by any means. I usually throw in a small pinch once a day or everyother day and I have good oral hygiene. Is there a good chance that I am fine? Obviously I am aware of the anti-tobacco propaganda saying that I'm going to die in a million different ways if I enjoy a dip sometimes. But since I'm not a heavy user and I take care of myself, I don't see a big issue with it. Thoughts?

I have a 2000 dodge Dakota quad cab 4x4 5.9 v8. Looking to get it lifted. Is 3 inches on the front and rear reasonable? What website should I order it from? And how much will it cost to have it installed at a shop?

I am looking to get my truck lifted but don t know where to go. Preferable I would like a shop near Denver or in the metro area. Any recommendations? I am willing to either but the kit at the shop or desperately.
