Persuade me for or against buying a 2004 or newer dodge ram 5.7 (pros and cons all welcome)?
I have always been a chevy and ford person and have said my fair share negativly, about dodge. but a recent visit to carmax and a test drive of an 04 Hemi Sport Ram i have found my self questioning my beliefs and asking people about there rams and have bought a consumer report to compair vehicles. and i guess my question is about reliability, ease to work on myself ( i dont take my vehicles to stealerships to be worked on) and overall quality of the body and parts . i dont care ether side, for or against try to put up a good argument.

i have checked the wires, distributer cap, rotor, EGR vave, Crank shaft position sensor, elctrical connectors, fuel pump and i still have no clue any ideas? the only thing i can come up with is water in an electrical component but which one. it will not start on rainy days but dry it will.
