I was online on Mario Kart, when the screen completely froze. The sound continued as the race started, but the screen remained completely static at the level vote screen.

I hard-booted the Wii, and yet the screen remains. I can hear the Wii menu, so it seems the video output is locked up.

I've emailed Nintendo servicing, but is there anything anyone can recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated

With all this talk of Rayman Origins at E3 (which, on a sidenote, had better come out on WiiWare dammit!!!), I've been interested in playing the first one again.

I've scoured the interwebs, and I'm open to paying a small fee to get it, but I can't find a download ANYWHERE. If anyone can help me out here, I'd appreciate it.

Hey, I've looked around the internet and I can't seem to get a definitive answer so I thought I'd ask.

I've got a HD Ready TV, which has scart, hdmi and composite inputs (as well as a vga input, which is in use). My laptop has, from what I can see, a vga output. However, the internet reckons it's got hdmi output.

Basically, my question is how should i connect it? It would be annoying to have to swap out my vga inputs, so I was hoping to connect vga-hdmi, but I've read this is a bad idea. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated!

I could do with getting my photos off my iPod onto my computer, they've been deleted by Windows in such a way that it can't remember where it put them. Is there a way of doing it? Thanks

I just noticed that the folder i was storing my photos in and the folder that windows thought was the photos were seperate, so i tried to merge them. A box came up saying the usual replace, ignore thing so i made sure all the photos were going to the right place. Now i've got a photos folder with endless levels of folders in, and all my pictures are gone. They're not in the recycle bin either. I have no idea where they've gone. I've searched for them, but it just says that the link is broken and would i like to delete the link. If anyone could help, i'd really really appreciate it

I'm trying to get an iPod Shuffle for my mom for Christmas, but I reckon she'd do better with the older one because I've heard the buttons on the new version (on the headphone cord) would be too fiddly. However, I can't find one in stock anywhere!

I'm looking at doing Physics, although I might put a Chemistry course in as back up, we'll see. I'm expecting pretty good results and I would hope I'll meet the requirements.

Can anyone give me any advice? Anything you think would be good to add in really. I've got a general draft going, but it's about 4000 characters without spaces, but 4900 with.

my friend recently bought some fancy-*** new tv and a component cable for his wii (the official one, no less). and some of the vc games won't work, it comes up 'mode not supported' on the tv.

these games don't work : Donkey Kong Country, Metal Slug

these games do : Tetris Party, Lylat Wars, Orbient, Mario: Lost Levels

I'm doing physics, maths, chemistry and english lang/lit at AS at the moment, and they're going on at us about UCAS and all that jazz.

does anyone have any suggestions, either for courses or websites, that might help me decide?

i'm interested in all the crazy physics and science stuff, but I can also see myself doing journalism or mechanics or something

i've tried quite a few times to put my confirmation code in for round two, and it just isn't working.

it just loads the same screen back again, as if i haven't even tried.

I found a few good offers on there, but i don't wanna spend money and get scammed/it arrive several years in the future. i've found the basket isn't exactly reliable- i've added an iPod and ended up with a $300 canon printer in my basket on the next screen, or one time 2 creative zen's.

anyone who's ordered off there before : how did you find it? delivery times? more importantly, did you end up with a printer or a wii remote or something ridiculous?

I got a laptop bought for me at the start of september, it's an acer aspire 5920.

and a few times, completely randomly, the screen just flickers.

it isn't a refresh sort of flicker, the screen just craps up basically.

at first i thought it was interference from my mobile, but it isn't. it seems like it happens when my screens at a certain angle.

would this be in the warranty? what can i do about it?

the micro sd card in my phone isn't working!

it can't be the adapter, i've tested that, so there must be something wrong with the card. but neither my computer nor my phone can see it, so i can't format it again.

any ideas?

(get a new one doesn't count!)
