  • city sewage separated at tap causing raw sewage to backup into my home?

I live in new iberia, LA , I contacted the city as raw sewage keeps backing up into my home . The city came out dug a hole in my front yard by the street edge said their lines were clean . I argued with them as i had hired a plumbing co to come out 2 times already they snaked and blew out my lines all the way to the cities lines , lady told me to flush my toilet and if it flowed through it was on their end , if not then it would be on mine. well it flowed through where they cut the pipe then back tracked saying its my problem to hire a plumber to video . I hired a plumber again to video he sent me pics to my phone showing the cities line had separated at the tap and they needed to come out and fix asap as I have acute asthma and am highly allergic to environmental pollutants. Its been a month since they first came out . I called again a week ago they sent someone to video it again from their company and he said he saw the problem and that my plumber was correct. They were suppose to have people come here to fix it but only one person came out to draw an arrow on road, i was told someone would be out the next day to start excavating the area to fix the problem, nobody showed up . I called again now they saying they have no idea when someone will be out here to fix it . In the meantime I still cannot flush my toilets when it rains up to days after , i have to run a hose hooked to my washer so it drains outside instead of on my floors. Raw sewage continues to come up through my sinks, tub and back shower . Who do i contact to get something done as nobody in this city seems to want to do anything without forcing them to. They have already been sued by the EPA twice for being noncompliant. This has cost me lots of money on top of being sick from this.
