  • How can I get my property back legally?

I'm currently in a situation where I have some property that's being held that I need to recover. I paid money towards the rent for a warehouse space to store this property and as it turns out the guy who I had been paying money to didn't pay the rent. The locks ended up being changed and now my things are being held along with a bunch of his stuff too. I really don't care about the money but I absolutely need my property back. I've called the local police station and they recommended I call the courts. I honestly have no idea who in the courts I should call and what type of legal action I should request to get my stuff back. I do have receipts and paperwork for all my items in there that would prove I own it, not him. Any help is appreciated!

  • traveling to mexico via land from US with no passport?

I have to travel to Mexico for work and I don't have a passport. I know by air you need a passport but I was told if you travel by land you wouldn't need one just a digital drivers license. If someone could verify this or let me know what I would need. I'm supposed to go in less then a week.

  • NJ re vin dash tag process?

I have a car that I recently purchased and a couple days ago realized it had no dash vin tag. I contacted Trenton dmv and they sent me a form to fill out and send into them, on the form it says to call one of the 3 special inspection areas to schedule an inspection. I want to know what the inspection process is. I have an imported engine from japan, which has no vin. I don't want to put my car in jeopardy of being taken away because I don't have paperwork for the engine because I bought it like this.

  • integra ls/v with vtec cel 21 issue?

Ok so i've been getting this CEL and nothing i seem to do makes it go away. I have an ls/v with a jdm 2nd gen b16a head and a p06 ecu chipped for vtec with an obd2a to obd1 stepdown. I've checked voltage and continuity in every wire, everything is as it should be and this CEL still won't go away. The only time it went away was when I disconnected the wiring harness plug "A" from the stepdown and it came back like 20 mins later but during a test drive, within those 20 mins, it hit vtec perfectly. That's why I don't think its a problem with my ecu. Now I tried unplugging the plug "A" again and it just pops up as soon as I plug it back in. I really can't think of anything else to do. I jumped the vtec solenoid to the battery and it clicks, the ohms read 17 which is still good because im pretty sure its supposed to be within 14-30 ohm. I have enough oil, I tried reseting the ecu and my screen isnt clogged.

  • question about 04 maxima ecu?

My sister has an 04 nissan maxima (auto) with a bad ecu. I was wondering if I got her a used ecu and installed it and had the chip in her key reprogrammed if it would work. I obviously know that I cant mix manual and auto ecus but if any specific ecu is needed.

  • wiring harness question?

I have a 5spd integra (98), I might be getting an excellent deal on an automatic shell thats in mint condition (way better condition then mine) I was wondering if i did the auto to manual swap if I could just swap my manual harness into the auto instead of cutting the auto harness. I've looked online and I haven't read much, if any, information on this.

  • Best method to remove powder coating?

I've searched throughout the web and im getting different answers as to how to effectively remove powder coating from for example rims. I've read of people using media to blast it, if this is the best method then what type media and grit. I've also read about chemical stripping (aircraft stripper, some MILES product, etc) or baking it off in a 750 degree oven. I just would like to know the simplest way to do it myself, im not looking to go to a shop to have it done. Thanks in advance for the input.
