tradition and marriage?
We are an Australian and Chinese (malaysian) couple considering marriage , we are a mature couple (over 40) and both have been married previously. We have also lived as a couple for a number of years in Australia.
The question is should i bow to pressure from my ladies family as far as following chinese tradition in regards to paying my ladies mother a cash dowry to gain her aproval to marry. If possible please state your ethinticity with your answer , so i can know how you relate the answer to.
