Men's Olympic hockey medal ceremony...?
I saw the incredible game between USA and Canada but had to leave a couple minutes after the end of the game (met up with some friends for some delicious wine tasting) so I didn't get to see the USA team get their silver medals. I did get to see the women's USA team get their medals a few nights back and I thought they were terrible sports about the loss...it was almost embarrassing seeing their reactions when awarded their medals. So, did the men's team show a little more class? Were they at least more appreciative than the women's team?
9 AnswersHockey1 decade agoSludgy radiator fluid problems?
In our 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, the radiator fluid is a slushy sludgy pink. It looks almost like a pulpy gel-type liquid. I know I need to change this out and flush the radiator. My question is about whether or not this horrible example of a coolant could be the cause for the engine check light to come on? The code says the light is due to the engine's temperature not coming up to the right temperature quick enough. It literally takes 20 minutes to even reach a touch below the half mark. Usually it's at 1/4 or below, which is obviously not good. So, I'm wondering if the thermostat is bad or if it's just the coolant needing to be replaced. I don't want to replace the thermostat if it's just the coolant, but if I replace the coolant and later find out it's also the thermostat then I will have wasted money on twice the coolant (will need to dump it to replace the thermostat).
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoPulsing humming from engine - Honda?
1994 Honda Accord LX
I don't really know how else to describe this noise other than it's a pulsing low hum. It sounds a lot like a wheel bearing problem I had recently on my girlfriends 2004 Pontiac GP. The only thing that makes me think it's not even close to a wheel bearing problem is that the noise goes away when I let off the gas and it's mainly only apparent when going 50+ MPH. What could cause this?
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoOver oiled, took out 1/2 qt; dispstick says it's at the same level of oil...?
I have a 1994 Honda. I took it to a local shop to get the oil changed and they put in too much oil (by 3/8" on the dipstick), so I took it back and they siphoned the extra oil from out the dipstick tube, about 1/2 a quart of it. They then had me inspect the dipstick level and it was perfectly flush with the top dot.
A few days later now and I check the oil level again...it's back at 3/8" above the top dot! How did this happen?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoToo much oil in '94 Accord LX?
I just got my oil changed at a local shop and when I got home I checked the dipstick and it's filled about 3/8" above the last dot. It's a 1994 Honda Accord LX Coupe. Is that too much oil? Should I take it back and have them redo it properly?
2 AnswersHonda1 decade agoOld RAM not compatible with new Ram?
My friend's computer is a HP Pavilion a134On. It came with a stick of 1GB PC-4200 DDR2 (533) memory. He just bought another stick of ram to go with it. Only difference is that it's 667 mhz. Shouldn't these two be compatible and just run at the speed of the slower chip? They aren't working together. BIOS only says there's 1GB of memory despite both modules being in the two slots. If I take out the new one, the old one is still recognized. If I take out the old one, the new one is still recognized. I did this for both slots. Both slots work and both modules work, just both modules don't work together. Why is this? Is there anything I can do to get the computer to see them both at the same time? BIOS won't let me change timings, if that's the issue.
4 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoSuggestions for dark rap?
Does anyone have any suggestions for some very dark, very depressing, foreboding and dangerous-sounding (hope that description makes sense) rap? I've tried searching for some on my own but it's just so tiresome sifting through all the mainstream tripe. Thank you in advance.

For me, one of the major songs would be "Innocent Child" by Arcana.

So the new Opeth album was released today. Any opinions on it? I think it's incredible. It's no Still Life, but it's still amazing.

18 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoJonas Brothers?
So I was reading Y/A and realized I had never heard The Jonas Brothers before. I got onto iTunes and listened to some clips. I then took my headphones off. Next, I went to my iTunes library and double clicked Emperor - I Am the Black Wizards. It was then safe to put my headphones back on and thus proceeded to do so.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Any Skinny Puppy fans on here? If so, what's your favorite album? I love/have them all, but my favorites are probably Last Rights and Too Dark Park. The Process is far too underrated.
