5 AnswersEngineering6 years agoIf you get A's, does the percent grade matter at all?
I was just wondering, in college, when they are calculating what percent of your class you are in do they compare your percent grades in classes or just your letter grade, meaning do they compare 4.0 students based not just on whether you got all A's but how high of an A you got. Would it matter even in the slightest bit if you got a 93% in a class (A) or a 102% (A)?

I asked this question in extreme detail in the FAFSA forums, but they never approved my post so screw them. I'm just wondering what I should do in terms of the parental tax info on my FAFSA. My mom was married for one year and thus her 2012 information and thus adds their incomes together, but she is now getting divorced and is the only one who will help me financially in college, and her income is far less than their combined income. I am wondering if I could simply post her tax information for the year 2012 and not that of the marriage, even though that is not how it was submitted.

Can anyone recommend an automatic disc cleaner and repairer that will buff out scratches and clean the disc (DVD, CD, game discs) so that its good as new? Some work well and some don't and I can't tell the difference. If not a specific one just give a link to a site, anything within $25-$75

I don't mean meteorological temperature, I mean literally the highest temperature ever recorded (meaning observed in some way if not directly recorded). I'm thinking its probably 10^8 Kelvins reached when a hydrogen bomb goes off, but we may have observed a higher temperature from a foreign star through spectroscopy or something.

I live in Wisconsin, and curfew here starts at 11:00 pm for minors. What I'm wondering is when does that curfew end? 3 am? 4 am? Because, unlike most people, I actually tend to take day naps and am awake at night and in the early morning...and I have things to do outside :p
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoComputer lag issue.........?
My computer's screen and audio lags and skips whenever it is running heavy processes for a while, such as playing a game or downloading movies while running a virus scan. I want to find a way to reduce or eliminate this "lag" because it is very irritating and makes it very hard to play games on my now only 3 month old laptop. Is there some way to tell what exactly is the root of this problem, such as a test, or troubleshooting steps? This lag completely destroys the audio and freezes and skips the screen for about 15-20 sec increments ever 1-2 minutes after it starts when I'm playing...World of Warcraft for example. There's no reason why this relatively new Dell (thats probably why...Dell) laptop should have any problems whatsoever. Rest assured this is not the only site I'm asking about this on :D

What do you think are the minimum requirements I need to run Steam and World of Warcraft well on a Dell Laptop. Those are both inferior to the processing power needed for Battlefield 2/214 and Star Wars galaxies, so what do you think for those? could i get a $300-$500 laptop and run them smoothly?
