  • Does anyone know what this book is called?

There was a book my 4th grade teacher started reading to my class, but never finished. That was years ago and now it is bugging me that I never heard the end.

It seems like it was called "what should (the kids name) do?" And it was about a boy who's parents had split up and his dad had crashed his motorcycle into a tree but did not get that badly hurt. The last thing I remember happening is that the kid had left his dog outside a shop and when he came back it was gone.

Dose anyone know the title of this book? Best answer goes to whoever tells me the right title first, Thanks :)

  • Angelfish, Bolivian Rams and corydoras?

Would one angelfish, two Bolivian Rams and 5 corydoras work in my 36 gallon planted tank? A school of tetras would be nice to. Also, the tank is cycled.

Sorry if this is posted twice, the first time I asked my question did not show up.

  • Bleeding heart tetras attacking other fish?

I have had these 3 bleeding heart tetras for months now in a 36 gallon planted tank and they have never been a problem. Yesterday i got a male and female guppy, the tetras where fine for a few hours, but then they went berserk and shredded the male guppy`s find down to almost nothing. Now they have chaced all of the other fish into hiding and have almost killed a platy fish. I have a 10 gallon tank with a filter that I could fill with water from the big tank and put the tetras in that. Would that be a good idea? They are just going on a rampage against all of the other peaceful fish.

  • "Friend" cycles between ignoring me and talking to me?

I had been friends with this person for years, but last year (senior year of high school) she started ignoring me in the middle of the year. Then a couple of weeks before graduation she started talking to me again acting like nothing ever happened. Then, after graduation at the celebration the school puts on she started avoiding me again. I thought I had seen the last of her. Now she has moved for collage to a town an hour or two from me and she keeps texting me saying we should hang out. I am sick of her thinking it is ok to ditch me over and over again. I don't want anything more to do with her, but I don't want to be rude and flat out tell her to leave me alone, what should I do?

  • What does "getting in the way of me" mean?

I have a friend who after ignoring me for about a week or two, replied to a text I had sent her during the first week of her ignoring me that was about a video game we both liked playing. She said "I have put my video game life behind me. It was getting in the way of me". I found the comment just wired and can't figure out what she meant by "getting in the way of me". I get that she quit video games. Which is strange because she really seamed to love playing video games.

  • Should I forget about this 'friend'?

We met when we where sophomores, we liked the same video games, books and loved animals. We used to hang out in the library every morning and play our Nintendo ds games together or just talk about books, school, animals, etc. But this year in the middle she suddenly stopped coming in the morning, which is something we did every school morning for the past two and a half years. I figured she just had to go to tutorials because she had mentioned her grades where bad. But when I saw her in the hall she seemed to be avoiding me.I texted her but she did not reply for days, which is really weird for her. A few days after I sent the text I get a voicemail from her house phone saying that she was grounded from her phone, but did not say why. Later when she was ungrounded I texted her about a video game and she replied "that's cool, but it left my gaming life behind me. It was getting in the way of me." I think this a bizarre statement. I later found out that she was grounded because a person she had been talking to in a game forum turned out to be a 50 year old man and her dad had found out and grounded her. She kept ignoring me and I accepted that she did not want to be friends anymore. until months later she showed up at my lunch table and sat down and chatted with me like she had not ignored me for over 2 months. She acted and dressed different than before. She only talked about work and kept breaking dress code every other day. But ignores me out of school. What is going on?

  • What should I do?

Today in class this guy asked me if I wanted to join his study group for that class, which at this point only consists of him and this other guy, I would be the only girl. Normally I would just think this was someone being friendly, but this guy had always just stayed off on his own and ignored everyone else and was kind of a rude know it all. He did not say any thing creepy that should make me feel uneasy, but It seamed really weird and I decided that I do not want to go. I don't want to be rude and just flat out say no, because he might just want to be helpful but I don't want to join the study group because it just seems really weird. What should I tell him if he brings it up again?

  • What should I do about my friend?

When I met my friend it was sophomore year and she was new to my school, she was eating lunch alone in the library so I invited her to come sit with me and my friends at lunch. She accepted the invitation and sat with us for the rest of the year and the next year. We had a lot in common, we both liked the same book series and both enjoyed pokemon and liked pets. We also hung out in the library in the morning. Sometimes we would bring our Nintendos and battle each other in the game, but not often. We talked about books and pets most often.

This year (senior year) we did not get the same lunch but still hung out in the library before school started. A few weeks into the school year she suddenly stopped coming and seemed to avoid me in the hall, I know I never said anything offensive to her or anything. I texted her and said" hi, how are you? " or something to that effect. The next day I got a voicemail from her saying that she was grounded and could not text or call with her cell phone and I could still text her and she would get the message. I figured she was embarrassed about being grounded and that was why she was avoiding me. Later I saw her in the hall and said hi and asked how she was. She mentioned that her grades where not doing well and she was going to tutorials in the mornings, which explained why she stopped coming to the library in the mornings. The next day I was walking through the school before it started and saw her sitting in the cafeteria with a bunch of other people hanging out. I did not say anything and kept walking. She had lied about the tutorials, and She still avoided me. I hoped that maybe it was a study group or something. A few days later I caught a shiny pokemon on my game ( which is very rare ) so I texted her about it. Later that day I got a text saying " I am very happy for you, but I have put my pokemon life behind me. It was getting in the way of me" I was very shocked because she had been very into the hole pokemon thing, she had been bringing her game to school every day and playing it almost constantly. I just played at home

Maybe 30 minuets a day. I texted her back and tried to change the subject by mentioned my New Guinea pig. She never texted back. And she still avoids me.

Should I just forget about her?

Also, what could " it was getting in the way of me" meen?

  • How to make ducks go back to their pond?

A wile back some ducks came from a nearby pond and came to my yard. At first they only stayed in my yard for a few minuets and left. Now they seem to have decided to live in my yard. A few months ago I found one sitting on a nest that is why I did not chase them of. Now it has been so long that there is no way the eggs will hatch but she still sits on them. There are some crazy people a few houses down the street that I am afraid will hurt them so they really need to go back to their pond. I have already taken them down to the pond several times but they just come back. Does anyone have any idea how I could make them stay at the pond? The fence separating my house from the property that has the pond in it goes all the way down the street so I can't put smaller wire all the way down to keep them on the other Side of the fence. Will I have to just take them to a pond that is far away? Also, they are a domestic breed of duck.

  • What happened to animal planet?

I used to watch it and there would be planets funniest animals, growing up and meerkat manor. Now all I ever see there is either a show that belongs on the discovery channel like I shouldn't be alive, a show that just combines pit bulls with criminals or any other group they can find. Or some dumb reality show.

  • Baby ducks need to get to a pond?

I have 5 baby ducks ( they are domestic ducks, not wild) but do they have to get to a pond to survive?

They have a kiddy pool to swim in and plenty of food and water. I have never heard of baby ducks needing to get to a pond to survive but the reason why I am asking is because my nextdoor neighbor sead that they will die if they dont get to the pond. I was going to wait for then to get bigger to let them out into the big pond because I am worried about predators and mean older ducks.

  • What could I put in this fish tank?

It is a 5.6 gallon filtered, heated, aquarium. I already have a male betta living in it so is there anything that I could get that would get along with him? I also have a few plants in it including a marimo moss ball, so the fish needs to be something that will not tear them up.

  • I got a dwarf puffer fish and he panicked when I turned the aquarium light on?

I turned the light in the morning and he started swimming around the tank as fast as he could go, I think he may have puffed and I feed a kind of bad about it. The tank is planted and he has plenty of hiding places. Should I do something to make the light change more gradual or will he get over the sudden light changes and calm down?
