Hello! I have a roomate and we both enjoy smoking weed on occasion. My dad is coming over to our apartment and her weed assortment and paraphernalia is all out on a tray table in front of the couches. As I said, I do smoke, but It’s not something I want to personally be that open with, and if he saw it of course I’d have to say I do too and I wouldn’t want to say it’s not mine. I know he does also in fact but I don’t think i really see it unless he uses it. I want her to feel comfortable and I know she’s already nervous and I don’t want to make her nervous but it’s making me nervous. Should I ask her to put it away for now or just leave it alone?

Hello. I was friends with this guy I had a casual romantic relationship with for four years until January of 2019. We were strictly friends off and on until August 2019 when he got a girlfriend. He has messaged me a few times. The first time was just a meme. I kept it short and platonic and said nice to hear from you hope you are well and left it at that. He messaged me a few more memes after that and I didn’t respond. Didn’t hit me as much just because they were just memes. The past couple times he has actually been using words but I haven’t opened it because I don’t know his girlfriend, we don’t have mutual friends, have no practical reasons to talk and I’m still single. That doesn’t sound like a good context to be friends in my opinion. I feel childish ignoring him but talking to him right now doesn’t sound like a good idea either. Any suggestions or perspectives? I have two roommates. One is nancy. We have a problem with her cousin Terrence who does not pay his share of the rent or utilities. His mom helped us with the deposit and one months rent. Terrence has not been able to pay his share of the rent for almost the entire time we have lived here. hello there! i have a question. i am trying to think of a short story, but i am not sure what it is called. i had to read it a few years ago, and i want to use it in a lesson plan. it is about a young girl who either steals or ruins this old woman's flowers and i know somewhere in the title is the name of a flower and i am pretty sure the author was a woman. if anyone has an idea of the story i'm talking about, please let know. thank you!
