Are there any former cooks or brilliant tasters out there who can give me a copy cat recipe for Qdoba's tortilla soup?

I'm incorporating this into a story, and I need another example of a quote or something who's meaning is changed/gets lost when its translated into English.

The only example I can think of is a quote from Pablo Neruda's Poema 20.

In the English translation the quote reads:

Love is so short, and forgetting is so long

In Spanish the original Spanish, Neruda wrote:

Es tan corto el amor, y es tan largo el olvido.

The English translation doesn't quite capture Neruda's meaning because while "olvido" can be translated to "forgetting," "forgetting" just doesn't capture the sense of loss and of aching that "olvido" does.

Can anyone else think of other examples like this?

I have a foursquare account for my business and I want to link it to my facebook business page, but I can't figure out how. I googled it, but all of the information available is from around 2010, before facebook updated. Using the apps.facebook.com/widget link no longer works, and the information from aboutfoursquare.com is incorrect as well.

If anyone can walk me through how to do this I'd be very grateful!

I got a new computer, but now when I plug my ihone in it won't let me make any changes to it or add music because my iphone is registered with my old computer. I know of a way to register it with my new computer, but that would wipe out my iphone completely and I realllllly don't want to do that because none of my music is in my itunes library. What do I do???

I'm in elementary Russian 1 and I was assigned an oral presentation due Monday. I work at a Chinese restaurant and everyay they cook meals for the whole staff. The meals are just simple Chinese dishes, not anything we serve on the menu.

Today they made these things that were kind of like dumplings, but I don't think they were. First they had these really dense, doughy pieces of warm sweet bread, kind of cut like a slice of French bread but it didn't look like it. And they also had these bread balls filled witha little pork and onions. The bread was also really doughy and dense, and sweet.

I'm the secretary of my high school's Key CLub, and we would like to organize a pen pal exchange with kids from another country. We're also hoping to get former Peace Corps Volunteer to come and speak at one of our meetings, so we'd like for the pen pal exchange to be related to the peace corps.

Does anyone know how I can contact a current Peace Corps volunteer who is working as a teaching, so I can find out if they'd be interested in a pen pal exchange? I know the Peace Corps has their school of world wide learning where teachers can contact PCVs but its not a pen pal program.
