What would be the best distribution for me to use, in this case:
I work for a company in which all users are currently running Virtual Machines. The problem is that they use Windows Xp computers to connect to Windows Xp computers. I feel like we should be using a really stripped down version of Linux to connect to those computers. Everyone currently uses Remote Desktop Connection because it's the standard in Windows Xp. In Ubuntu, we'd use the Terminal Server Client, which is basically the same. Or we could just use WYSE Terminals. But we have a lot of desktops to spare and I'd rather install a fresh copy of any Linux distribution, because I feel like it would be more reliable than Windows Vista or Xp.
Which distribution would you use if all you had to do was use the Terminal Server Client?
I know some people will say DSL, but then when I connect to an Xp machine, the colors look bad.
I have used Ubuntu, but I need to find a way to strip it down all the way and put restrictions so that all the user can do is connect to his computer. I don't know how to do that.
Any suggestions?

I'm planning on enlisting in the Air Force. I'm really good with computers. Better than the average person. I know things that people don't ever think or heard about. But I want to enlist as an arieal gunner. I talked to some people and they said that I should get a job that will help me in the real world. As soon as I graduate from high school I plan to enlist. But I'm not sure of which thing I want to do because I like computers and technology but I also want to be a gunner. Anybody have an suggestions or opinions?
