Now you have a good sense of humour so what is your musical taste? I don't care if your are single or what ever. That is not the point.

  • Meeting someone in a smaller town. Is it possible?

I have been trying to meet singles (women) in my city now for quite some time. After exhausting the network of friends who might introduce you to someone available, I have explored Internet dating which while it has produced a number of meetings, has not produced anyone remotely compatible. Internet dating also poses problems such as lack of body language, and through developing a relationship via texting, and e-mail forces one to create a false image of the other person which has a hard time being reconciled to that person you are meeting for the first time.

I think also it is a combination of my small town setting, my age group (40’s), and the way society is set up which makes meeting people practically impossible during everyday life.

Does anyone have any bright ideas as to how this challenge may be overcome? Perhaps there is someone out there who has overcome what I find is a very difficult situation.

  • I want to expose Zoosk for what it is. Is anyone as passionate as I am for doing this. I have the resources?

I want to do this, just need a bit of help to get momentum up and going.

Perhaps it will mean a catalyst for change in their rip off policies.

I can build the website and get the domain, but what other thing is the biggest bang for the buck. Any help is appreciated.

  • I think Zoosk a dating site is a fraud, and want to warn people. Does anyone else share my views?

I hate getting ripped off don't you?

These are my brief observations of Zoosk dating website.

Lets say you are a woman and you have created an account on Zoosk for the fist time. You have uploaded your picture and you have created a written blurb about yourself. Great, now all you have to do is make a search of men in your city based on criteria and see what there is on the site.

What can you do at this point? You can read the mans profile which gives him a flag saying you have viewed his profile, and you can wink at him. This triggers an auto response which is sent to your inbox. To me it almost seemed as if the person was actually replying favorably to the wink. This is the first red flag to misleading programming.

Note: Every user shows up appearing like they are a full member. There is no visible distinction between who has paid and who hasn't paid. I will explain the important difference.

Only paid members can write a message to another paid member who will only be able to read the message if they too are paid. The problem is that you have no way of knowing which members (if any) are paid, so you don't know if it is possible for the other party to have read your message. This is just wrong.

If you now make the plunge and buy a months membership for 34 dollars, you will be shocked in your final step of payment to have a further fee of 25 dollars added to the total bill. Well, you have made the conscious decision to buy haven't you and now you face a fast unfair decision. One that is sprung on you in the last second. This is the second red flag of misleading programming. Almost criminal in standards.

Ok, so you have made the plunge. Now at least you can contact some of these great looking prospects. Wrong! Soon you will realize that even though you can write a long introduction letter to anyone you choose, they won't be able to read your letter unless they too sign up. In short, they are unable to make a decision based on what you have written, they make their decision based on the fact that you messaged them with something, or nothing. Is this fair? No. This is a red flag and a scam.

Also, I am aware now that some of these profiles mainly of women are undeletable. I know of a few people who have reported trying to delete pictures or profiles and it is an impossible thing to do. They I gather will be bait for anyone new and considering to join the site. This is a serious red flag, unacceptable and just wrong.

The best one can do, is to alter the information in the profile to something made up and ridiculous.

It is time to go public with this information....?

  • Is Zoosk a scam like I think it is?

I have been scammed by Zoosk a dating site for 50 dollars. I am not able to contact anyone and from what I can tell, nobody is real. I already know that it is impossible to delete a profile as I have tried. Certainly women can't delete theirs and I think that this sucks in guys to buy a very expensive membership for no service offered.

I want to take this public

  • Is it better to charge my cell phone for a short time or all night?

I just bought a new android phone and notice that the battery gets sucked up rather quickly. My question is: Is it better for the battery to run it down as far as it will go then charge overnight or is it better for the battery to charge and hour here and there whenever you can? Which way is better for the battery, and which way makes the charge last longer?

  • Need a light ink for special application?

I'm looking to colour a piece of painted fibreglass for decorative purposes. The ink has to be water proof. Yes, and the criteria is that I want to do it so that it looks even (in one solid colour) and weight is the second consideration. The less weight, the better. Spray paint is a bit heavy so I have been wondering if there are other more creative options out there.

I have been toying with the idea of using a magic marker type of ink. It looks good on a test area however there is the danger of overlap shadow I think when applying.

Any advise on the subject is appreciated. What can I use and how can I apply. Thanks

  • dating websites, the ratio of single men vrs women?

Why do smaller cities have a huge men 80% to women 20% ratio on dating sites? Is this a fair representation of the ratio of single men vers women in reality?
