Can someone please explain the me how ACT scoring works? Do they deduct for wrong answers like they do on the SAT? I've been to the ACT website, but I'm still confused...

Also, I need to get at least a 29 on the English portion of the ACT - how many questions do I need to answer correctly to get this score?

I have an arabian horse that I am going to have photographed in a couple of weeks. She's a black-bey color and has a long mane if that makes any difference. They are mostly going to be of her, but I might jump in a few shots. What would be some cute poses or shots to try and create?

For the past 4 years, my horse has been boarded in a stall and has been fed pelleted feed and hay twice a day. I ride about 4 times per week for 30-45 min per time max. She has never been kept in pasture or had grass in her diet. I am moving her soon to a new location where she will be able to stay in pasture during the day and come into a stall at night. So basically, what I'm trying to ask is, Now that she will be eating grass for a large portion of the day, how much do I need to feed her? She will have to slowly be introduced to prolonged time in pasture to prevent colic, but I am unsure of how much nutrition grass gives the horse and what else she needs to sustain her healthy weight. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have an HP Deskjet F2210 All-in-One printer. I am trying to scan a few pages from a small book using the scanning option, but whenever I try it, it only scans in 1 of the pages or it cuts off somehow. I have checked everything and even gone to the support webpage. When I use a full sheet of paper, it scans perfectly fine, but when I use something less than a full sheet, it goes all wacky on me!

I am going to have a photoshoot with my arabian mare soon and I want some creative ideas for costume, setting, and poses.

A little info about my horse:

-has a black bay coat with golden undertones

-VERY long black, kind of frizzy mane (her mane goes down to where her leg meets he shoulder)

-teeny tiny strip on her face, but not noticeable from far away

I know I want to have pics of me wearing a sun dress riding bareback and barefoot through a field. I was thinking of white for the dress b/c I thought it might pop against her dark coat(i need help with colors)? I will probably be making lots of clothing changes during the shoot. I need ideas for poses both on her back and on the ground, clothing ideas for me, and anything else you can think of. Ilike interesting and unique photos.

Any ideas you can give me would be great!!!

I decided to purchase an expensive item ($400) I found over the internet from a woman in Florida. We talked through email quite a bit and I recieved pictures. It all seemed very legit. I know I should have gone through paypal, but I didn't, I sent a personal check, and she said she would ship it to me through first class.

Well, it has been 2 weeks and the check I sent has been cashed, but I still haven't recieved my product in the mail, and she won't return emails or phone calls. I have her name, cell phone #, city where she lives, and a P.O box number. Is there anything I can do?????

I am a senior in high school and lately, I have been interested in photography, particularly equine(horse) photography. I've got a Nikon D40, a telephoto lens, and another basic lens(not sure exactly what it is I'll have to go check). This last year I took a photography/journalism class, so i understand the basics of composition, photoshop, RAW,ect. Will a Nikon D40 work for horse photography? I'm picky when it comes to the quality of my photos.

I've been riding horses for 8 years, so I understand the behavior, but are there certain things I should keep in mind when shooting horses? I am also looking for some unique and stnning photograph and pose ideas(both for the horse alone and with a person). I've been playing around with some photos, but I haven't found anything I absolutely love yet.

What are some crazy things you could do to cheer yourself up? For example: smile all the way through class and make your teacher wonder what's going on, or cover your front teech with foil to look like braces.

I would consider my hair to be dirty bolnde with natural blonde highlights. I have never considered my hair to have red in it, my brother has red hair and the other one has strawberrry blonde hair. Lately when I'm out in the sun people have been telling me my hair looks really red. How can I naturally bring out the red highlights in it. Please don't tell me about john fredia shampoos and coloring shampoos as I already know about these. The only thingk I have heard of is beet and carrot juice????

I have recently started some of the Parelli trainning methods wiht my arabian mare. I am trying Parelli as a last resort for my mare who has been called "unridable," and so far it seems to be working fairly well. I purchased a carrot stick, halter, lead rope, and 22 ft. line. They are parelli knock offs, but I have seen the real ones, and mine are just like his. Anyway, I have gotten all the information I could about the 7 games and trainning online, but I don't know what to do now. I need the Parelli patterns, videos, anything that will help me, but they are SO expensive. I am a 16 year old girl and I can't afford Parelli prices. I babysit as much as I can, but I can't get a job b/c I am in several school activites or I am always at the barn trying to help my horse. I have looked all over Ebay and Craigslist, but Still, I don't have 300$ in cash in my pocket to spend on something that I am not even sure is going to work. My parents say that if my horse doesn't make any major progress in this year, then they are going to sell her. I have been working so hard with her. I have already taken her to 2 trainners, who gave up on her.

Does anyone have any ideas? Can anyone give me some parelli trainning tips or patterns to try. My mare has been doing so good wihth Parelli, but we have run out of cash and resources.

Lately my internet on my laptop has been acting funny. (It's wireless)

When I try to go to certain websites, it will go to a google error page saying that this web page can't be found or doesn't exist when I know that it does. sometimes I can get on the webpages and sometimes I can't. I noticed it starting to happen after I let my little sister play some online game called Howrse.

Also, AOL has started popping up on my computer every time I start is up. It just pops up auctomoatically and It hasn't ever done that before. It used to do that when I first got the laptop,but I had a friend fix the settings so that it wouldn't pop up any more. I haven't messed with the settings since. Can someone please help. my interenet is driving me craxy!!!!!

How long are your horse's tails? I have a horse with a very long and beautiful tail that drags the ground and its not supposed to be cut according to her breed. I was just trying to see how long his is in comparison to other horses tails that are grown long.

Does water dry out horse hoves or moisturize them? Should I put hoof conditioner on before I wash down my horse to keep water out or put it on after I wash them down to lock it in?

It seems like lately all the music they play on the radio is voice digitilized cookie cutter boring songs. I want to listen to something new. Can anyone give me a good list of songs?

I am considering using a calming supplement on a horse. She is an alfa mare, very high strung, and ETREMELY spooky. I tried one for 2 months and didn't see a difference. Are there any effective ones anyone uses?

What is the best leather cleaner and conditioner you have used? I've used lexol in the past and I just don't like it very well. I want something that is really going to clean my saddles and a conditioner that nourishes the leather and protects it.
