Can I get my Java MouseListener to give me coordinates relative to the whole screen, instead of a component?
I've implemented MouseListener in my class, and the KeyEvent getX() and getY() methods return coordinates relative to the upper left corner of the component I've placed it on(in this case, the main JFrame). I was wondering if there was a way I could get those coordinates relative to the upper left corner of my screen as a whole.
If this can't be done with MouseListener, then please suggest another way if you know one.
Thanks in advance

4 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoIs there a way I can record the audio on my Mac without the use of a microphone?
I often find songs I like on the internet, but have no way to efficiently record them. I have a built in microphone on my Mac, and I've tried simply recording the audio I play with that, but the quality is extremely low.
So, I was wondering if there was a way built into the Mac, or maybe some software that will allow me to record audio straight from the source. I have Audacity on my computer already, as I've been told it can do what I'm asking, but I can't figure that app out for the life of me.
Any and all help is appreciated!
4 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoWhy is so much American music played during the Olympics?
I've been watching the Olympics for a little while now and in sports like volleyball they'll play a short song after each point is made. These songs were generally American songs and I figured the reason was because the American's were winning, but I've been proven wrong as American music is still being played, even though the Latvian's are currently ahead.
Am I hearing things, or can anybody offer an explanation?
8 AnswersOlympics1 decade agoAnyone know any good historical swear words?
I'm writing a research paper that's in the form of a story and I'd like it to be as realistic as possible.
So, what kind of profanity would those in the American Revolution have used?
4 AnswersHistory1 decade agoWhat kind(s) of cannons did the American's use in the American Revolution?
And also, if you happen to know, what do the numbers mean in 16-pounder and 3-pounder? Are the cannons really only 16 and 3 pounds respectively?
