3 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoWill I fail an alcohol urine test if i had two Coors Original beers?
I had two Coors Original beers last night (Tuesday) within a 3 hour time period. It's Wednesday and I am having a job interview Thursday for a job that may or may not require a alcohol test. Will I fail if I take the test Thursday (almost two days after drinking)? I don't typically drink that much and it just so happens that I had two beers not thinking that I was going to ever be alcohol tested. And what exactly is a failing EGT? Does it have to be higher or if you have any EGT does that mean that you will fail?
Some additional information: I am 24 years old and weigh 140 lbs.
6 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoSigned Blank Bill of Sale at Boat Show, What Do I Do If we Don’t want to Buy from Seller Anymore?
My husband and I went to a boat show and made the decision to finally upgrade our boat to a 2011 Supra. However, since we didn’t like the color of the boat that they were selling at the boat show we decided to just order one that was specific to our likings. To get the boat show pricing the sales rep made my husband sign a blank “Bill of Sale” from Supra. He said that he would fill in the form once we emailed him exactly what we wanted on the boat.
It’s been about two weeks since the boat show. Here are the issues that we have had so far.
*Got approved for the loan, but their loan provider was requiring us to shell out 20% down. Which to be honest, we don’t have $12K liquid at this time. My husband and I discussed downgrading the boat to a smaller size and getting rid of some options to make the price of the boat go down. We asked for a detailed list and new price on the boat. (still haven’t got)
*Then my husband got us approved for the full loan amount with lower interest through USAA. So we wanted to go ahead and add the options that we wanted and then some more extras, like spare tire, under water lights, etc. We told the rep that “we came into some money” and that we would like a new price on the boat with all the extra options that we wanted to add, knowing that we wouldn’t be going through their creditor. (still haven’t got it)
*By now we have asked the rep through several emails and phone conversations for a detailed printout of the sales price. The rep has been very evasive and very inconsistent with the prices.
It’s now to the point where we don’t want to do business with this marina anymore. My question is, if we signed a blank bill of sale (with no money down), are we then responsible for the cost of the boat?
**Note: I’m not looking for answers like “you are screwed!!!”, “Hate to be you!”, “You are dumb!” I’m looking for legal advice. And if we are responsible if we decide to not buy this boat from them?

Please don't put "use chopping appliance" because I've already chopped by hand and washed my hands with soap. I even cut my finger nails. Help!
8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoParents promised money for wedding but now have changed their mind. What do I do?
Last year after we got engaged my parents promised to give us a lump sum of money towards our wedding/reception/honeymoon/down payment towards a house.
On the 12th month before our wedding I mentioned to my parents our plans, but our parents didn't offer us the money. 11 months away I asked my dad when exactly are we going to get our money since we needed to purchase our hotel room (because we are having a destination wedding) and I mentioned the urgency since room prices and flight prices frequently get higher as you get closer to the destination. My dad told me that due to tax purposes (since they are retired) that they would have to wait until January to give us any money.
It’s now January, just 9 months away from our wedding. My fiancé and I have already spend $1000 out of our own pockets on down payments for the reception hall, hotel room, invites, wedding websites… and once I bring up the money issue with my Step Mother she immediately tells me that they are only paying for the wedding, not the honeymoon or the reception. Needless to say, the wedding isn’t going to cost us anything since the hotel has a “have 5 guests stay 3 nights or more and get a free basic wedding”. Our response to her was that our intentions with the money (that we discussed last summer) was to spend half on wedding/reception/honeymoon and then the remaining amount was to go towards a down payment on a house. She responded back stating that they don’t understand. We responded back “what don’t you understand”. She responded back “we don’t understand why we are paying for honeymoon for one thing? Among other things! We need to talk”
WTF! How should I approach them, this is going to be SO embarrassing if we have to cancel! Because we can’t afford to pay for this on our own. Plus if we cancel now we are out $1000 not to mention that a few of our friends have already booked their rooms and purchased gifts on our registry. What should we do???
