  • I am an IRR soldier (E-5)?

    I am being transferred to an Army Reserve unit. I would really like an AGR position. I was told that I had to first be in the Army Reserves but, could then apply immediately after my status is changed from the IRR to the Army Reserves. How long does the process usually take to secure a AGR slot? And...will it affect my MOS affiliation bonus and 24mths stabilization?

    Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
