Do you find it more beneficial to use judgemyride.net for judging how you ride and asking any questions you have about horses? I find here that people will follow others peoples responses to prevent being td, or have a strong opinion that they wont let be changed with new information.

So i have a mutten shaped horse. (: i ordered this saddle and im pretty confident with the fit just wondering other people opinions (:

before you yell at me, i cant put it on her back, if it doesnt fit they wont take it back if it has been touched by the horses back or ridden in. So i tried my best and just used a baby pad. So what do you think of the fit? And should i add a foam half pad? ( http://www.doversaddlery.com/roma-wither-relief-li... ) just because she doesnt have any withers? thanks a million!

What are good ways to improve muscle? i cant ride a whole lot due to weather and not having a fitting saddle at the moment. I can lunge. So do you have any exercises to improve her muscle? thanks!

Long story short I no longer have all the medicine and medical supplies I previously had so i am in need of new supplies i was just wondering what are some supplies that you find necessary to always have and some not so necessary medical supplies thanks!

Im in a good mood after breaking down a barrier with my horse we had had for months. (:

So has there ever been a moment where your horse has ever made you really proud?

I have been dying my hair a lot recently all colors from dark red velvet to black and i want to go back to blonde (which is my natural color) is there a way to dye my hair blonde at home without the risk of it turing orange? (it is currently a very dark brown) Whenever the hair color fades from my hair (even though it is permanent hair color matched with color safe shampoo) its turns this orange color from when i died my hair velvety red. So how can i get blonde? sorry if this is confusing.

I've been riding for about 2 and a half years and i feel so bad about my riding, i feel like whenever i take one step forward i take two back. I feel like i havnt been doing well in my lessons, last lesson we tried to fix my leg which is positioned way forward pretty much at their shoulder so i had to have a w/t lesson without stirrups and at the end of the lesson when i got my stirrups back my leg instantly swung forward. i tried my best without the stirrups and i still wasn't doing it right because my legs weren't sore, because i obviously wasn't using my leg, when i thought i was. I felt like crying after my lesson and im still upset today (lesson was yesterday) at a show on sunday when i got pictures i looked at them and thought "i knew i was bad but i didnt know i was this bad"

I honestly dont know what to do i thought i loved riding but every time i think of riding i feel like crying.I feel like such a beginner and i shouldnt even be riding im so bad. I look at people who have been riding as long as i have and i cringe at how much better they look than me. I look at every other person riding and think i wish i could ride like them maybe then i wouldnt suck as badly.

Whenever I ride my mare within 5 minutes she is foaming at the mouth even if all we have been doing is walking. Is it her bit? I ride her in this

im a little worried because im 14, 5' 6", 115 pounds, a 34 B and still havent gotten my period. Ive had the signs for a while, ive had underarm hair since 5th grade, my breasts are sore, discharge and acne/oilyer skin/ oiley hair.

My mom got hers when she was 11 so i dont know why im so late.

is anything wrong? When do you think i will get it?

At the moment i can stick my hand into the side and poke leather on the zipper to my leg (if that makes sense) i have heard that you could soak them in the bath and they would fit better. Is this true?

Other than strengthening core and leg muscles and also improving your balance, what has been being an equestrian changed about you?

One thing that has really affected me is giving me awesome posture which also tigthens the muscles in my back and gives me horrible pain (but dont worry i go to physical thearpy for that -__- )

Also it has recently been messing with my wrist from doing all the girths...

My mare had a breakaway halter that she broke the breakaway part and i couldnt find the little screw i was wondering what screw i can use on the second hole in the breakaway. Thanks

So my friend boards her horses at my house. She has a 3 y.o who accidentally got pregnant from other stupid people. She had a colt. The colt ia currently 10 months old. She wants to break him at 1 1/2.....*facepalm* I told her its not good at all to do that because he will have a sway back when he's older and muscle problems. She claimed its fine because that's when she broke the mother, 1 1/2. The vet told her it was fine then. I just don't want him getting hurt. Urg. How can I convince her to wait?

Note this person also has the the mare in a Tom thumb with tight curb chain. ( I finially convinced her to switch to a full cheek which she is gonna try next time she rides) she has never had a lesson in her life she beleives she is a good rider because she doesn't fall off a lot. Even though she hangs on her mares mouth, bounces on her back and causes her horse to go into a false headset from the pain of the bit. She also claimed she broke her mare even though she just hopped on her bareback one day and her mare didn't do anything . (When she was a year and a half) I'm just so stuck....
