I would like to host a harvest festival for my community at the local park. I don't know how I would fund it, but I would like to keep the proceeds. Anyone have any ideas? I have plans for the activities and festivities and I would mainly rely on donations from other people. I realize I would need a permit, but what steps do I have to take? Thank you.

If you are a vegetarian. The type who believes animals should not be killed and sold as meat for people to eat.

Does it make sense that you like to eat food that tastes like, feels like, smells like meat but it is not meat. It just makes no sense that you don't like meat yet you want to have a substitute for it that is very similar. I just feel that if you are this type of vegetarian you should not want anything that is remotely similar to meat based on your beliefs of animals rights.

I am african american/white. I am a medium tone, but I have a dark ring around my neck. And dark pores on my legs so they look spotted. Any way to reduce this?? Thank you!

Fixing my terminology.

Why would people want to buy a purebred dog compared to a mutt who would love a wonderful home than be killed because there isn't any room in the shelter. most dogs are euthanized because there isn't room.

I understand people want purebreds so they can show them off in a show and whatnot...but i mean like ordinary people that are obsessed with keeping up with the Jones's. Its sad because the humane Society could use good homes for pets... *sigh* Save a life...

And of course like I said, there ARE PEOPLE who want dogs so they can SHOW them off at a dog show. again..i mean ordinary people.

And adoptions do sometimes cost a fee, adoption is almost never free unless its your neighbor or someone you know trying to find a home and you take it..Or a stray....

why adopt a purebred dog when you can go to a shelter and get a darling "Mutt" that will live longer and you will save a life. I don't understand.

Why pay thousands when you can pay maaaaaybe 100 bux or less for a dog that is altered so your dog will not get cancer or anything like that. I mean...come on. Its not fair for a dog to constantly be bred with bros and sisters or whatever just so that they will be pure blood and on top of it the inbreeding makes them ill. come on people. Save a life.
