Hey, I'm wiriting this story, and I was wondering what you thought so far? Thank youuuu :)

It's called The Price You Pay.

Oh, and her name is pronounced Nev-ay.

Nevaeh POV

I hummed to myself softly as I swung back and forth. I trailed my toes along the gravel floor, not wanting but needing to think about going home. I acted on impulse today, and just ran away before things got bad. I didn’t want to get involved in another of their arguments, especially once things got physical, which they were bound to sooner or later. Every day the same routine; Mum and Dad would get mad at each other over the tiniest thing, and start shouting. Before long, Dad would snap and Mum would get hurt. I tried to get away before that happened, only sometimes I couldn’t get outside I would run to my room, but once up there I could still hear Dad’s fist come into contact with Mum’s face or stomach. The next morning I would go downstairs and Mum would have a black eye or be nursing a nearly broken rib, and Dad would be slumped on the sofa drinking. Ever since Noah died this has been the daily occurrence. And I missed my brother too; more than I’d ever thought was possible, but I didn’t get myself drunk and wallow in self pity every day. No. After the murder I got on with my life. I worked hard, and I’ve got things to show for it. Great friends, good grades, and a Saturday job. I want to leave this hellhole the second I turn 16.

After I had sat and swung for a little while longer, I heard the rusty gate creak open and someone enter the playground. That’s odd, I thought to myself. No one usually comes to the park at this time. I looked up to see the best looking boy I’d ever seen in my life. He looked around my age too, but he was tall and had light brown hair that was concealed under a beanie. He was wearing a tight Hollister shirt that showed off his abs, and jeans, but the thing that really struck me about him was his eyes. They were the brightest blue I had ever seen and seemed almost transparent. They were the kind of eyes you can get lost in. Suddenly he smiled a gorgeous smile and I blushed scarlet and looked back down at my feet. I got up to leave so I wouldn’t embarrass myself in front of this guy, but then he came and sat down on the seat next to me and said, “Hey there.”

Those two words had a ridiculous effect on me. I went even redder – if that’s possible – and my heart started beating at 200 bpm. I just looked up at him, smiled a little smile and said, “Umm, hey.” Laughing quietly to himself, he replied, “What brings a pretty little girl like you here on a Saturday night?” The fit guy thinks I’m pretty!? Score! “Just trying to clear my head. My life’s a little crazy right now.” He smiled sympathetically, before saying, “Anything I can help you....urm....” He trailed off, not knowing my name. I smiled brightly this time, and said, “Nevaeh. And no, not really.” However nice this boy may be coming across to be, I was not letting him in on what happens at home. No one knows, and I like it that way. He shrugged, held out his hand and said, “Well okay Nevaeh. And I’m Ayden. Ayden Olivier.” I shook his hand and then we both sat in comfortable silence before I checked the time and freaked out.

“Oh my God! I’m sorry Ayden, I have to leave. Like now. I’m late home.” I said whilst gathering my stuff. And that wasn’t a lie. Whether they were drunk or shouting at each other, my parents made sure I was home by seven, or I was in big trouble. And no matter how drunk or angry they were, everyday they decided to remember my existence at 7 o’clock. Now it was 6:57. I shouted goodbye to Ayden before running out the gate. I could hear footsteps from behind me as well as someone calling my name, but I just kept going until I reached the park gates, where I paused and turned around. Ayden was standing right behind me, panting from running after me. “Nevaeh....you run...fast!” he managed to get out between breaths. I shrugged. “Yeah. Now I have to go again. Bye!” I turned to go, but before I could disappear, I felt a strong hand on my shoulder and was forced to face Ayden again. “What? I have to get home!” Shaking his head, he said “Will you meet me here tomorrow at half five? On the swings?” I thought about this, before agreeing hastily and running off again. “What’s your surname?” he shouted after me. “Carter” I yelled back. I carried on running far away from him, already thinking about what to wear tomorrow.

K, so I have this friend who went out with a boy for 5 and 1/2 months, and then he dumped her by text. But they stayed friends, but now he told her that he has gotten involved with a big gang and done some very bad stuff. But they continued to stay friends, and then he text her that he is going to ask her out again in a couple of years as he thinks "no couples stay together at 13, and I want us to last forever." I and all her friends think this is a load of bullshit, but she clearly still likes him and he still clearly likes her. What should she do? Ask him out again or move on with her life?

Basically my plot is about this girl who is killed, yet she is still aware of everything. This is the first paragraph...

I mean, yeah, I felt him shoot me. But it didn’t hurt. It was uncomfortable if anything; having a big metal ball stuck in your heart for ages. And I felt it when I fell to the floor, and I saw all the blood run out of me. That bit felt really weird. Then I saw him walk away, and I also caught the glimpse of the smirk on his face. After that...well I just lay there and waited. About half an hour later some woman walked down the alleyway, then screamed and ran. The police and ambulance arrived around two minutes later. One young man looked at me, sighed and looked genuinely sad. I didn’t really understand why though. It wasn’t until they zipped me up in a body bag that I realised. That I was dead. But then why could I still hear and see everything that was going on perfectly?

But now I don't know what to do. Has anyone got any ideas on how to continue it? I need the reason why she was kept alive. Thanks xx

It's really complicated so here goes.

Basically, me and my friend (lets call her A) were out last night and were talking. She mentioned that two of our other friends (B and C) were not being very nice to her, and then at school today I said to B and C that A was annoyed at them. After that I saw A and she asked me if B and C have been talking to her. I said yes, but meant to say no. Now B and C are annoyed at me because A told them that I'd said they had been talking about her. So now I don't know what to do??? Any ideas???
