Would this be considered a necessary or sufficient condition?
For whatever reason, I'm having a hard time grasping this concept...
-If countries accumulate wealth, they must become democracies
Would it be necessary, sufficient, both, or neither?
1 AnswerHomework Help9 years agoWhat does an SSD (solid-state drive) do exactly?
I had heard of SSDs while researching computer builds, but couldn't find any definitive explanations about what their main purpose is. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Knowing what they do/help with when it comes to gaming would also be helpful :)
3 AnswersAdd-ons9 years agoHow would you translate this into Russian?
"Russian Student Association"
2 AnswersLanguages10 years agoWhat is Harry Potter's name is Russian?
I was leafing through the Russian Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry's name was spelt "Гарри". If I'm not mistaken, doesn't that spell "Gary" in English? I'm not too familiar with Russian <---> English names yet so if anyone can clear this up for me, that would be awesome :)
3 AnswersLanguages10 years agoWould this answer be correct for a percent problem?
It's kind of similar to a question just asked her on the forum
So I have the original amount of 6634 and a percent of 36%. It also tells me that this will be a "decrease" and that I must round to the nearest integer.
After doing the work I get 4245.76 or when I round, 4246. Would this be correct?
2 AnswersHomework Help10 years agoWhat is the percent change answer in this problem?
Original Amount: $250
New Amount: $180
I think the answer is 28% but I want to be sure

2 AnswersLanguages10 years agoHow does Chegg work exactly?
I understand that you can rent your books from them for cheap, but how does it work persay? For example, my Russian 101 book is listed as "$11.99", but what's the time period for that charge? Is it per quarter, semester, or year?
Thank you if you can help me :)
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)10 years agoComposition of functions help?
So I'm given: f(x) = 4x - 1 and g(x) = √(x+3)
It wants me to give the composition of (f ∙ g) as well as (f ∙ g)'s domain. When it says composition, does it just means it wants me to write down the new equation and not solve it?
1 AnswerHomework Help10 years agoHow would you go about solving this math problem?
I'm really unsure of how to even begin : / The equation I was given is:
2cosΘ + √2 = 0
I'm supposed to write it in terms of radians and it gives example answers that end with k(pi), k E Z
2 AnswersHomework Help10 years agoWhat would be the most simplified answer to this question?
So my question is: 4w^9 ∙ 6v^8w^2 ∙2v
I know that these are rather simple, but it's just been so long since I've had to do one ><
Thank you if you are able to help :)
1 AnswerHomework Help10 years agoHow would you graph this function?
The function is: f(x)=1/3log4(x+4)-2
The 4 after the log is the base~
I kinda have a general picture in my head of what to do, but could someone give me some detailed steps?
1 AnswerHomework Help10 years agoCould someone help with this pre-calculus problem?
So the problem is: 13^(7x) = 7^(x+2)
My sheet says "Write the exact answer using base-10 logarithms" so I really have no idea how to go about this : /
1 AnswerHomework Help10 years agoWhat is the reading order for the Legend of Drizzt series?
I have read the great majority of the LoD series, but now I'm rather confused. I've read up to the Transitions and have just started "The Orc King". I'm really confused, though, as there is talk of the Spellplague and it seems like this book is way in the future. The only part of the LoD series that I have yet to read is The Sellswords arc.
If I read those 3 books, would the Transition series make more sense? Or is there something else I'm missing?
1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoWhat types of soap can I use on an oral piercing?
I know that Satin is the best product out there (I love that stuff), but it seems everywhere I look it's out of stock. Even local piercing studios and CareTech Labs are out of it. I recently got my lip pierced and it's in need of a good cleaning, so I was wondering if there are any other suggestions for soaps that are gentle enough for piercings.
Thanks!
6 AnswersOther - Skin & Body1 decade agoWhat book comes next in the Legend of Drizzt series?
I have read most of the Salvatore's LoD series, but now I'm kind of confused on which book comes next. The last few books of it that I've read were The Hunter's Blades Trilogy. I'm thinking that the Transition Trilogy comes next, but I'm not sure : / Any help?
1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoWhat is the reading order of the Legend of Drizzt series?
I just finished Sea of Swords and now I'm a little confused on which book to read next. Some sites have told me "The Thousand Orcs" is next while others have said "Servant of the Shard". I was under the impression that Servant of the Shard and the books that followed it were a kind of side story.
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated

5 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoWhat are some legitimate Pen Pal organizations?
I've been trying to find an organization that can help me set up Pen Pals for both me and my young cousins. I would like it to be an international group so that my cousins can interact with people from other countries.
Sorry if my question seems choppy or poorly-written - I've just got back from a very long day at work
