  • Any tips on estimating range in a field?

I am helping a landowner with his groundhog problem in a few weeks, I find it difficult to estimate range in open fields aside from actually measuring it out before hand, which I may still do. Any tips or tricks that may help me? Also any tips on bullet drop of a 30-06 180 grain round from 100-150 ish yards. Yes I know that is a large caliber to use, but I only have a .22 or a very old .222 that has a horrible metal scope.

  • Open carry with concealed permit?

I have a concealed carry permit in West Virginia which is an open carry state. My question is.. Have I waived my right to open carry by obtaining the concealed permit or do I now have an option to choose my method day to day. I have tried to find the answer online, and I don't trust the local police to know the law. Does anybody know the answer to this?

  • Is there a "White Fang" movie that follows the book?

I just finished the amazing book and would like to watch a movie but it seems to be made by disney. I don't want to watch a kid's version. The book is rather brutal so I'm guessing it is a different story?

  • Why do preppers want an arsenal?

What is the point in keeping say.... 30 guns in your house of 2 or 3 people. Do you have 60 hands? Why is this viewed as being prepared for a battle. I believe keeping a few reliable guns with lot of ammo is a better idea. Especially interchangeable ammo. 9mm pistol/rifle combo etc. and don't tell me it's because 20 of them might break.. Please.. If your gun breaks in a shoot out, you're dead. A real fight will last probably 5 minutes and you will use a mag, if that. If an army descends on your farm, you better be gone

  • Joining a beginner hockey league?

I'm 26 and have been going to "stick time" around twice a month or so for a couple years. My question is, what is the skill level at beginner hockey leagues. I can skate pretty fast, stopping is an issue. I have a weird way of stopping, I do a 180 basically 10-2 move. I can skate backwards but not real fast, I can pass and shoot decently. My mental game is good because I'm a video game hockey addict so I feel like I can set up pretty plays if given the chance and the physical skills. So what is organized beginner hockey like?

  • NHL 13 first person goalie camera?

This seems like a no-brainer to me but every year I am dissapointed. You can't see what is going on right in front of you because your huge goalie is in the way. It should be like "mirrors edge" where you can see your limbs. What do you think?
