I have a 2005 Artic Cat 400 atv that won't start. It isn't firing and the only thing I have been able to find wrong so far is that the Charging coil of the magneto isn't within specs. It shows 1.1 ohms resistance and is supposed to be between 0.32 and 0.48 ohms resistance according to the factory service manual. Does anyone know if this can keep it from firing. The ignition coil checks out, the High Tension lead and spark plug cap are both within tolerances. The trigger coil and source coil are both good also. There is no fire at the coil, so it isn't the spark plug. This bike was running strong and smooth the last time it was ridden. It was parked and turned off, then 30 minutes later when we tried to start it back up, Nothing. Hoping that someone can help me out that has experience with this problem.

I have Firefox and IE both on my computer. I actually prefer Firefox in many ways, but suddenly it has quit working. It all started when Yahoo decided it was time for a new look on the home page. I decide that it wasn't too bad and lets face it, yahoo could care less if we actually like it they are going to force it on us anyway.

Yesterday I had both browsers open and noticed that Firefox was still the original version of yahoo homepage. I clicked on the tab to switch to the new yahoo and when I did it stopped working. I can't open yahoo with Firefox now, and can't figure out how to undo what ever happened. It still works at every other page I try to open it just won't open yahoo.

Of course yahoo is of absolutely no help. Their help page is worthless because all it does is run you in circles. You can't actually ask anyone a question online or over the phone unless it is about yahoo mail, or a billing question for a service. You can't even email them ( at least not as far as I can see) and get help with a specific problem.

Does anyone have an idea what in the world is going on here? Does anyone have a secret way to ask yahoo's worthless customer service a question?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the oil is removed when you evacuate an air conditioning system. Specifically I am talking about an automotive system but I figure that it would be the same for any type of air conditioning system.

The other day, I turned on my computer and it wouldn't boot. I got a black screen and a message that the system configuration file was missing or corrupted. I tried to install windows over top of the old windows, but it wouldn't let me and wanted me to delete the partition. I really don't want to do that because I hadn't backed up my files recently and I will loose some things that I really don't want to lose. I tried putting another hard drive in the computer and got it to boot up, but I can't access the drive. It shows both HDD's as one. The original doesn't show up under my computer, but does in the sytem devices. So basically it is seeing them as partitions of the same drive. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem. Or if I am going to be forced to format the drive; is there a program that can retrieve my files either now or after it has been formatted and the OS reinstalled. My OS is XP Professional.

I have a 1970 Johnson 25 hp Seahorse outboard. When started it will only run for a minute or two at best then it stalls. The exhaust is so rich that it burns your eyes. There is a vacuum line ( at least I think that's what it is) that runs from just below the fuel pump to a spot right by the carburetor. When I pull the line off by the carburetor it spews gas out of the line, and out of the port by the carburetor as well. A local boat shop told me that it was the needle and seat in the carburetor so I rebuilt it. That didn't change a thing. It is exactly the same as it was before I started. I'm normally a pretty good mechanic but I am at a loss with this 2 cycle engine. HELP!! 10 points to someone that can help me.

I lost my best friend of 30 years a little over 7 months ago. It was very hard for me, but harder still for his widow. I have done all that I can to help her get through this, and we have become closer friends over that time. She has had a particularly difficult time over the last month because of dealing with Christmas and New Years without him, and then his birthday was on the 3rd of January. So understandably she is having a tough time. With Valentines day looming in the near future I would like to do something for her. I would like very much for the day not to be purely one of tears for her. What I am thinking about is Flowers ( not roses because they carry a certain significance), perhaps a small assortment of hand made chocolates, and a locket with his picture in it.

Is this alright, or would I be overstepping my bounds by doing this? I don't want to do anything that would hurt her, or make her uncomfortable. Please try to imagine yourself in her position and how you would feel about this gesture.

I have a predicament that I am not sure how to deal with. 6 months ago my best friend of over 30 years passed away. Out of a sense of duty and respect I have done all I could since then to help his widow. Last weekend she and I, and a few others went out to dance and have a few drinks. When we left the bar everyone except the designated driver was a little drunk, but by no means hammered. But by the time we got home she appeared to be very drunk; and I had to carry her to bed. This is when the situation became perplexing. While I was carrying her into her bedroom she started nibbling on my neck. No one knew it but me, and I couldn't react in any way because I didn't want to embarrass her in front of her friends; or her 13 year old daughter. After getting her tucked into bed everyone left and as I was driving away I realized that I still had the money she asked me to hold for her in my pocket. So I went back to leave it on her dresser. Before I left I leaned over to tell her that I was leaving it and when I did she pulled me down and kissed me.

It was a huge surprise. I am almost ashamed to admit that it wasn't an unpleasant one. It was followed shortly by terrible feelings of guilt that I had done my friend wrong.

I don't know what to make of this. Was she drunk and not thinking or realizing what she was doing? Was she not as drunk as she appeared and seeing how I would react? I have no idea!

Earlier in the night we were told of another place that we should check out some time and she said that we should go, but just she and I. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but after what happened later I began to rethink it. Also I spoke to her on the phone the next morning and she asked me if she did anything stupid, and I told her no she hadn't.

I know that I have to talk to her about this, and that when I do, I need to breach the topic tenderly. I in no way want to hurt her or embarrass her.

There are several things that I don't know however. I don't know how the female mind works and need some insight from those that do. I don't know how I feel about any possibility of a relationship. In one respect I would feel guilty, but in another I do care about her and since I found the situation to be pleasant on several levels I obviously have some attraction to her.

How long should I wait to talk to her about this?

How do you think I should bring it up?

What do you think was going on in her head?

I know that I have asked a lot of questions here, but I would appreciate any advice that you may be able to give.

This is a multi part question.

Here is the problem, I have all of my computer equipment in a spare room of my house. I use it for photography work as well as other run of the mill duties. I have 2 printers, a photo scanner connected to it.

I would like to move the computer itself to the main living area and leave the peripherals where they are. I'm not really sure how to go about this. Everything I have been able to find out about networking revolves around networking computers for internet access. I don't care about that, just being able to access files and programs. As I understand it I will need a usb hub for my peripherals to plug into, a wireless router to allow connection to my PC, and a wireless card for my PC. Is there anything else I will need, and are there any special considerations for using the network for file sharing purposes as opposed to internet access. I might also like to be able to connect my laptop to the PC as well. Is that feasible? What changes will be necessary to make this function properly?

After the fantastic job that Sarah Palin did this evening with her speech, I am sure that he is. If the Democrats weren't' scared to death before tonight they sure better be now. She didn't just get a hit tonight she hit a Grand Slam. Not only did she outline her own history and accomplishments; which any honest person would have to consider impressive, she lambasted Obama for his lack of accomplishment in public life. The whole time using specific examples; and comparison of McCain and Obama's records. I think that her speech will go a long way not only within the party but outside the party as well. Every average American can relate to this woman and her view of life. To be honest I have always been against the idea of a woman being president, but with the nomination of Sarah Palin as VP that has changed. I was wrong and quite frankly I think she could be elected president herself.

I recently received a phone call from a collection agency saying that I owed a phone bill from almost 10 years ago along with penalties. I have no documentation from 10 years ago to either confirm or dispute this charge and told them that I wanted confirmation in the form of a billing invoice from the phone company. They didn't want to produce this and I told them that I would not pay based on their word alone. What can they do legally and what recourse will I have if they make a detrimental posting to my credit report. I don't think my request was unreasonable considering the age of the supposed debt.

Does anyone know what may be causing this problem? I recently put in a water softener, and ever since there has been a problem with the filter in my coffee pot overflowing. I changed pots, changed brand of filter, changed the grind of the coffee, and tried the metal permanant filter that came with the new pot. The problem persists. This was never a problem before the water softener was installed. I know this sounds crazy, but I am out of ideas, and the soft water is the only variable that hasn't been changed.

I'm going backpacking in Denali this summer for 2 weeks. The cost of a rental car in AK is ridiculous due to state , municpal and airport fees. Since I am extremely cheap, I thought about buying a very cheap junker and driving it for 2 weeks then either giving it away or taking it to a salvage yard. I was looking on craigslist and a lot of the cars listed say that the tags or emissions are good until a certain date. So here is the question. Do the tags follow a car in Alaska like they do in some other states? In other words if I bought a car with valid plates could I get away with driving it for 2 weeks?

I have done a code search on my Mustang and it shows the same code each time. It codes 1443 which is the Idle air control valve. I have changed it 4 times, and it hasn't helped. I clear the codes and any where from immediately to 40 miles later it comes back on. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this. I just have a hard time believing that I have installed that many defective parts. I am hoping that someone out there has had the same problem or knows of someone who has.

I am considering upgrading my operating system to Windows Vista. I am concerned with potential problems with some key programs and hardware. Specifically Adobe Photoshop CS2, Photoshop Elements 3.0, Pixel Ninja, Nortons SystemWorks 2006, and Call of Duty 2. As far as hardware is concerned my only real worries are with the Cannon i9900 wide carriage printer, and Spyder2 Pro colorimeter. I also have an HP 3320 printer that I use for basic utility printing. It is an inexpensive printer, so if it needs to be replaced it isn't a big deal. As far as internal hardware in the computer itself; I have no real concerns as it is quite new and up to date. If you can help with any of my concerns, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to expand on my previous question concerning my problem with my razor v3, and not being able to transfer mp3 for ringtones. My phone is from Cingular. I have recieved 2 answers that assumed I was with verizon or sprint. Sorry about not being more specific.

I've been trying to create a ringtone for my razor v3. But I keep getting a message that the codec is incorrect or missing when I try to save it. Or shows a failure to if I attemp to transfer it to my phone. Any ideas what the problem might be. Photo transfers work fine.
