  • Where can I find a Milwaukee Admirals jersey with the old logo?

I'm looking for a Milwaukee Admirals hockey jersey with the 82-97 logo and colors (The new ones are rubbish). All I can seem to find online are ones that were worn in a game and cost $250+. Even eBay is a bust. Anybody know a website or store?

  • Official name for an electronic component...?

A wire on my laptop's AC adapter is beginning to split and fray. It is doing so at the little rubber bit that's supposed to protect the wire where it enters the plastic box. I know I can fix it, but I need a replacement rubber bit.

Here is a picture of the part I am looking for:

What is the official name for this piece, so that I can find/buy one online?

  • Stanley or Evolv tools: Which is better?

I'm looking into purchasing a fairly basic mechanic's tool kit. Obviously the high-dollar brands are going to be best (Proto, Snap-On, etc.) but they're way out of my price range. My first choice was Craftsman, but kits including everything I want run over $100. However, while in Sears, I noticed their new "Evolv" line of tools. The quality SEEMS ok, and decent kits start at $50. However, WalMart carries a comparable kit by Stanley for the same price. Has anybody had experience with either of these brands, or both, and can make a recommendation?

Please keep in mind that I don't need anything "professional grade", as I'm just using the tools for basic work on my family's vehicles, but I want something higher quality than the el-cheapo generic kits offer.

  • Is it ethical to show wife's new husband the financial train wreck she has caused me?

My wife and I are going to be divorced in less than a month, and she's already got a new fiancee that she is planning to marry a week or two after the divorce.

While I was in Iraq last year, she spent literally ALL of my pay, plus nearly $100,000 that I had in savings. In the first four months alone, she spent $5000 at bars, $2000 at restaurants, over $18,000 on retail, and much much more. And that's just out of the savings; Who knows where my normal pay was all going.

Before I married her, I received a few warnings from people she used to know saying that she would do something like this, but they didn't have any proof, so I dismissed it as old lovers and enemies being vindictive. But I have proof of what she's done during our marriage... bank statements, bills, etc.

Do you think it would be the right thing to do to warn this new soldier that she's with about any of this? It's not to "get back" at her, I just really feel he needs a warning. Would I be doing him a service, or butting in where I shouldn't?

  • Alaska drivers: FWD with high ground clearance, or AWD with normal ground clearance?

I'm considering trading in my FWD Ford Escape for an AWD Ford Taurus in preparation for an upcoming move to Fairbanks, AK. But I've heard a few people say that as long as you have studded tires, All Wheel Drive doesn't make much of a difference, and higher ground clearance will be more useful.

Please, only answer if you've lived in Alaska. I have plenty of experience with Wisconsin winter driving, but I know AK is much different, and I want to hear from people who have experienced it.

Also, no DURRR FORD SUX type answers. They help nobody.
