I am having a problem with a kit i am building (as specified below) --

a constant high pitched siren goes off at powerup. I am using the stock fan which came with the Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Processor. I have checked the mounting of the fan and the therma grease. At initial powerup, the bios tells me that the internal temperature is 35 deg Celsius and the processor temperature is 42 deg Celsius. After about 10 minutes of idle computer activity, the internal temperature is 40 deg Celsius and the processor temperature is 49 deg Celsius.
