i want to get a new job but everyone drug tests now. since i have my card it is legal for me to use cannabis in california so can i still pass a drug test?

I received a speeding ticket a month ago and was given the physical ticket. I am 17 1/2 so I still have a provisional license. I have looked on the ticket and don't see a court date listed or anything, so I have been waiting to get something in the mail. Nothing has come yet, so what do I do? Also, I plan on fighting it because he said he "clocked me at 81." I had my cruise control set at 74, so I don't know how he got 81. I know I will probably still receive a ticket for that, but it is a lesser fine.

My 16th birthday is in like 2 1/2 weeks and I still am stumped as to what to do for a party. I was thinking maybe something formal-ish but I don't know what activities we would do like that. We don't have that much money to spend, so something relatively cheap would be nice. Our house is open so it could be there. I don't really want a huge party because I just had a graduation party a few months ago that was huge. I absolutely hate movies lol so please don't suggest movie party. Also, ice skating wouldn't really work here. Any other suggestions? I love Chuck E. Cheese (yeah I know... haha) and had my last 2 birthday parties there, but I was hoping to make my 16th a little more special. If you could help elaborate the formal idea, that would be great. Oh and I live somewhat near Sacramento, California if anyone has any ideas from there. Thanks!

Ok, so I took the California High School Proficiency Exam yesterday and feel like I did pretty well. I get the results in the middle of November. If I pass, I am able to (with parental permission) officially leave and receive my certificate that is equivalent to a diploma. I am doing this instead of doing all 4 years of high school because I am taking classes at the community college already and LOVE them. I think I will do great at the community college for a few years, and then transfer to a university. So I am wondering, if I get news that I pass in November, should I just withdraw then? Or should I finish the last month and then withdraw? I do independent study so I spend a lot of days just at home working on homework. I am only taking English, history, and PE at the high school. At the college, I am taking statistics and Spanish. Would it be of any benefit to wait until December to leave? I have been under a lot of stress from my school situation lately so I am hoping to leave ASAP, but it IS only one more month... So can anyone help me think it through better and give me their opinion? Oh and if anyone is going to tell me not to leave high school, please don't bother posting because I have had enough people tell me that. But this is something I really want to do and I feel like I am not learning anything at the high school. It isn't dropping out. I am doing something that is legally equivalent to graduating. Right now I am in my sophomore year of high school doing independent study though our local high school. I am also taking two college classes at the community college. My college counselor suggested that I just take the California High School Proficiency Examination which is a test that you can take once you are 16 or in your second semester of sophomore year. I have been looking into it and have decided that this is what I am going to do. It gives me a certificate that is legally equivalent to a high school diploma. I know I will do well taking full time college courses so I am ready to move on. The problem is, the test is only given three times a year. October, March, and June. My 16th birthday is in February so the October date won't work. But I do not want to wait until March to leave high school so I am looking for a way to skip to my second semester of sophomore year by October so I can take that test.

I was thinking of having my mom register our home as a Private School. That way, I can work faster and she can move me to my second semester of sophomore year so that I can take the test in October. Would this work? And if so, how do we do this? Please say ANY information you have because I am very confused as to how we enroll as a private school and if this would work. Sorry this was so long, but thanks to anyone who helps!

I am 15 years old. Just to give you a little information about money in our area, houses sell for about $500,000-$1,000,000, I have a part-time job making $8.00 an hour, and we have a huge range from lower-class to very upper class families in our town. I am middle class. I babysit kind of frequently for a family that goes to my church, but my neighbor has been asking me to babysit as well. I am certified in babysitting, know basic first aid and CPR (but am not certified yet). I have to get certified in first aid and CPR for my job, though so I will be soon. The family I was has three kids: 8, 5, almost 2. The two year old is not potty trained, and is very very fussy. I usually watch them from about 5-11 PM which includes dinner, bedtimes, and straightening up the house. My parents drive me there and they drive me home (we live about 20 min. away). They have never asked me what I charge, but I am pretty sure my neighbors who wanted me to sit for them will so I am trying to come up with

Ok, so I have been sick for over 2 years now... but I'm not really going to get into that. My doctor called today. I had an x-ray of my stomach done two weeks ago and she said that they were very concerning. Normally, they just write the results in a report and get it to the doctor in the next few days. But for mine, the people actually called the doctor personally that night to tell her how concerning my results were. They said that my stomach is extremely big. I am a petite teen girl (15, 5'1", 108 lbs.). They think maybe I have some kink or something causing it. They are going to do an upper GI scope thing and make me drink this barium stuff, but I am kind of worried about what they might find. Has anyone had any experience with something similar, or might know what could be causing it? I would like honest answers, please. Thank you :)

I have had my 30gb video iPod for almost a year now. It does this thing sometimes where it won't load all of the songs in my itunes library onto it. I know there is plenty of space because I only have 2 gb of songs and 5gb of movies/tv shows in my library. I made sure every song is checked for being synced to the ipod. What might be causing some of the songs not to load? Oh and all the songs loaded a couple of weeks ago onto my ipod but then when I synced it two days ago, they didn't go back onto my ipod (that's the problem). So I know they are in the correct format and everything, I just don't know why it is doing this.

I have two small little tank goldfish (only worth a couple of dollars each) but I just got one of them and he likes to swim near the filter (I guess he likes the feeling of swimming against the current or something). Anyway, he was just swimming near it like he always does and I left the room for a minute to get a glass of water and when I came back he was upside down with his tail stuck behind/in the filter. He was taking big breaths and I ran to get my mom. We were able to get him out but not he seems like he is in shock. He is barely swimming but is breathing. I put some salt in to keep him out of shock, and he just layed in a plant for a while. Now he is near the filter still breathing, but it doesn't look very good. Please, does anyone have any suggestions to help him? He looks in pain, but I don't want to lose another fish.

Yesterday after school (i am 14) I got a really bad headache and my stomach is kind of queasy. I went to bed at 8 and I still don't feel well so I didn't go to school today. I slept in until about 8:30, but I really want to go back to sleep. Is it ok to go back to sleep? Or will the sleep make me more tired when I wake up?

Is there a way other than trying for a baby in the game to get pregnant? I am wondering if anyone knows of a cheat or hack that would allow my to create one in CAS mode. If not, is there any cheats, hacks, or anything to allow me to choose what gender I want my baby? Thank you so much!

I am 14 and work at a day camp. There is a 6 year old girl who I've never met before who came up to me today and wouldn't leave my side. The camp was playing a game and I got pulled under the parachute and when I came out, she was crying because she wanted me to stay by her. All day she has been telling me that she loves me and that she wished I was her mommy. She has even started calling me mommy and I don't even know her! She is constantly asking me for a hug too, and kissing me over and over. She told me that her daddy was looking for a girlfriend which makes me believe that there is some trouble at home because she also said that her parents live together.

Its not that I want to get rid of her, I am just worried that maybe she is being abused somehow and that's why she feels the need to be all affectionate to me. The other six year olds are cute and cuddly, but not this extreme. I am wondering if I should tell my supervisor or what I should do.
