  • will a Blazer 4 x 4 trans swap with a 4 x 4 Silverado trans?

    I recently lost a 4 x 4 transmission in my 1990 Silverado but I have a 1991 Blazer 4 x 4 and was wondering whether they would swap out. The Silverado has a 350 motor, the Blazer a 400 motor. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

  • toyota 4x4, timing chain cover replacement?

    I have a crack in the timing cover on a 22re 94 toy 4 x 4, the water pump, radiator and alternator were just replaced by a local mechanic, and the leak was not repaired, though noticed. The explanation I have been given is that it requires removal of the head in order to replace the timing chain cover. Is this true? Please advise.
