Is it unhealthy to not be able to make friends?
I find it extremely hard to make friends. I have just started University and am wondering if there is something wrong with me because of the fact that I can't seem to make any connections with people whom I do not already know well. I didn't have a single friend at school and found it impossible to connect with others. The few friends I have (3) are my neighbours or were in a previous netball team with me for five years. It doesn't really bother me too much at the moment, so I don't feel inclined to make friends, but I was thinking that maybe this is abnormal for a 17 year old girl?
*Note that I'm in a small university, so there is no big club scene or any huge social community to get involved in.
