okay so I'm in college and there is this girl I often see in campus. She and I are part of a student organization (I'm the president, she's the secretary).

Anyways, I really think she is beautiful, and I really want to get close to her and get her to like me. But I don't how to approach her and talk to her, and man, she is really beautiful ( and I'm just a nerdy-like guy but I do well in academics).

I just want to make a good impression on her. I'm kindda good at playing guitar, but I'm not sure if that alone is enough to impress her.

Any suggestions on how I can improve myself and not get me friendzoned?

I really like playing DotA. Problem is that I cant do well in multiplayer since I'm such a newbie.

Can somebody give me some ideas on which heroes are good for newbies? and maybe some tips?

BTW, I prefer using long range heroes like spellcasters (e.g. Shadow Shaman) and heroes that have good speed but still long range (e.g. Drow Ranger, Lightning Revenant).

I want to build one since I have 3 Blue Eyes plus polymerization and blue eyes ultimate dragon.

also I have a blue eyes shining dragon and its my favorite card and all.

I'm open for detailed suggestions.

Okay here's the low down:

A friend of mine invited me to play online on RoN. The thing is, I have the game now but I'm a complete newb at it. I played Civ series and Age of Empires series but I dont know how RoN will work.

I need suggestions on what civ should I begin with.

Here are some traits that I want in a civ:

-quick research, lots o' knowledge

-good moolah gathering

-good resource gathering

-good defence

I kindda like civ that gets technologies quickly. I'm open for many suggestions.

And maybe 10 points to the best answer.

I know its done but I really wanna apply for it. I wasnt able to pass my application so I wasnt able to take it. Coz of time constraints, etc....

I am a Filipino who has been staying in the Philippine countryside for 9 years already but there is just one thing: I dont know how to speak the local dialect. You see, the languages I often use are English and Tagalog but here where I'm living its a different dialect around. Some people commented that I have a good "American" accent even when I speak Tagalog.

Do you find this odd or something? I feel like a foreigner in my own home country sometimes.

I have a friend whom I knew since 2nd grade. we used to hangout together with our friends before. we don't talk often but it was casual. She is shy girl after all. Now somebody spilled the beans and told my schoolmates that I have a crush on her (since 5th grade). Heck, she also knew.

Now we hardly interact with each other. I get an occasional hi and smile whenever I say hi. BUT whenever I try to hangout with her and our friends, she would make up an excuse and go away from ME. Her friends also notice that. According to her friends she didn't like the idea that I like her or she's just shy. They don't understand her either. I don't know what to do. I'm afraid I'm gonna lose a friend.

Can somebody give me any idea on how to make her comfortable in my presence and be friends again? NOTE: I'm not asking her to be my gf. at least not yet. And I didn't hurt her or anything.

Here's my story and sorry if it's too long.

I have a friend who I knew since elementary. She has been a friend of mine since 5th grade. We're juniors in school. And to be honest, I actually have crush on her when we grew closer.

At one point my classmates, including her, discovered that I have a crush on her. Everyone was shocked about the revelation 'coz they weren't expecting that to happen. My friend/crush is shy but kind and sweet and smart and I'm smart, helpful, decent and considerate.

Now we hardly ever talk to each other and whenever I'm nearby she would avoid me or ignore me or something. And I have a hard time approaching her now.

One time I got an awesome haircut that everyone started commenting I looked really good. However, according to her friend my friend/crush was looking down when I was around as if she was feeling awkward and never glanced at me when I was looking.

On another occasion I gave her chocolate and a bouquet of flowers on Valentines day (2011). She appreciated them but she didn't like flowers that much because they wither and she prefers useful stuff like plates or mugs. Although she didnt brought the flowers to her home, she really loved the chocolate.

The problem is we feel very distant and feel like we're strangers. I guess she's really shy and all. her friends said she doesn't hate me. But I didn't want our friendship to be gone like that. I never wanted to hurt her feelings. The truth is I think about her very often and I love her so much. And now I feel like I lost her.

I regret letting everyone know about it. All I want is to be able to hangout with her again. Can anyone give me advice?

One more thing: I'm baking her a cake for her birthday. Is it okay? I've had some experience in baking.

I want some new tunes and all. sounds from my my favorite bands like simple plan and secondhand serenade. please i want a site that doesn't need registering, payments, download software and the like. PLZ I want it to be virus-free or anything that does not causes technical problems.

i am researching about dialects and all

I recently have an r4 and i tried it and all went well. But now when I try to play my games it would say "ttpatch.dat Can't open loader". Please help me. I dont know what to do.
