  • Criminal background check?

    I have a question-

If you and your husband got into an arguement and police were called and you were uspet and arrested- later the charges were dropped and expunged from your record- would it show up in a criminal background check for felonies? Like for a teaching position?

It was over four years ago and I am still married to him- just one really bad arguement and there you go!

There is nothing else on my record at all and I am thinking and expunged arrest should not show up... Will it? Could it? Not in California :)

Ch. 13 and workman compensation award?

do you have to notify a trustee when you recieve a large (over $12k) workman compensation settlement? Or hire an attorney for family court? I am struggling to find informaiton but hitting a dead wall! Any links would be helpful.

I know someone who got a large award and did not pay any on their bankruptcy and I was wondering if they were wrong to fo this....
