  • American Idol results........ a scam?

Adam Lambert has been praised, loved, and tipped for the top since week 1 of AI... and yet, suddenly, he's nearly going home!

Could he REALLY have been in the bottom two last week?

Do you think the results were rigged so that more people will ring in for Adam?

As they never reveal who has how many votes, it would be very easy to tell us anything... we can only take their word for it that the results they give us are accurate and real.

Was it just a ploy by Simon and his cronies to rake even more money out of the viewers? If Adam is "in the bottom two", his fans will want to ring in even more to cast their vote and try to keep him safe this week... more phone calls = more profit!

They already knew that the Justin Timberlake wannabe was going home... so why not throw in a scandal and raise some more cash at the same time?

    What do you think?

  • To report or not to report? (that is the question)?

Wouldn't it be better to just hit the "block user" button than to "report abuse"?

Just because you think someone is a troll, doesn't mean that they are a troll to everyone; someone else might actually find their questions and answers useful or interesting (remember, it takes all sorts to make the world go round!). You could spend a couple of minutes filling in the form and praying enough others will report it as well... or you could just "wipe them out" with a single click.

So... do we all boycott the reporting system or carry on letting the trolls take up more of our time?

  • How can we be in violation of "guidelines"?

Many people seem to be unhappy with the Y!A system of deciding what is a "violation" and how they deal with these "violations".I posted this on a blog for the Y!A moderators, but don't think I'll get any answers from them, so I'll try here.

    --------------------

"Guidelines" (by definition) are not rules! People are at liberty to disregard guidelines if they so choose!

    From Wikipedia...

"A guideline is any document that aims to streamline particular processes according to a set routine. By definition, following a guideline is never mandatory (protocol would be a better term for a mandatory procedure). Guidelines are an essential part of the larger process of governance.

Guidelines may be issued by and used by any organization (governmental or private) to make the actions of its employees or divisions more predictable, and presumably of higher quality."

How can anyone be in violation of "guidelines"?

    --------------------

Please don't report me for ranting or stating an opinion or some other inane "violation"... this is a serious question and I would appreciate some serious answers!

  • Do you know anyone that works for Yahoo! answers?

I'm seriously p***ed off with Yahoo! answers right now!

They delete answers, send out automated responses to appeals, and ignore follow up emails! Who the hell actually works for Yahoo! answers? What do they do? What do they get paid for?

This is a copy of the answer I've just had deleted...

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: how i get money from the online making money program? by what way?

Question Details: i don't have mastercard, or something like that, i'm in China now.

Deleted Answer: Making money online? THAT'S EASY!!!! "You can earn MILLIONS every month with the right strategy and minimal outlay...... Send me £20 and I'll tell you how!" :-D

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have posted this as a quote from MANY "money making" sites and it answers the question perfectly!

Why has it been deleted (how is it in violation) and why will Yahoo! not reply to my questions?
