I have a private landlord that won't let me leave my agreement. But the agreement is not a standard template. It literally looks like it was written by a foreign 12 year old. A lot of spelling mistakes. A lot of nonsensical clauses. A lot of clauses that directly contradict other clauses.

It also gives him freedom to end my agreement for no reason with 2 weeks notice and says I can't end my agreement under any circumstances, even emergencies. So obviously that's giving him a significant advantage over me, which I think counts as an unfair term.

He didn't protect my deposit. He also didn't provide his real address. He put the address of the flat for rent as his address for serving notices. He doesn't live there. And it's a very clever way to avoid getting sued. 

Everything tells me he's a fraud. The other 6 tenants have stopped paying him rent altogether. Wondering if I should do so too seeing as this tenancy agreement looks like a sham

If I was told my god awful mock exams that I didn't take seriously at all were going to be used to decide my final grade, I'd be in a state of depression knowing no university will accept me. I'm assuming this will happen to this year's kids who were banking on performing above their predicted standards and now don't have the chance.

So low mood at the very least, depression very likely, and worst case suicides can happen as a result. Presumably not being helped by the obvious exacerbating factor of social isolation.

Was this a somewhat misguided act by the government? Could they have caused even more mortality but in a much more tragic sense?

Seemed to me like Infinity War had the better cinematography, character development and story. Endgame seemed like a boat load of fan service for me. Anyone else feel that way?

Seems like a double standard. You try to teach people to be proud of who they are, but in the same breath, you say it's ok to artificially change what you are to an extreme

A lot of people point out data from studies which look at variables and see if they're related. e.g. whether one type of surgery is more effective than the other

But is this actually science? If you don't know why two things are related, then isn't it just recognizing patterns? And if you know the mechanism behind why one treatment would be better than the other, why would a study even be necessary?

People keep saying you shouldn't take criticism from someone unwilling to put their name on it, but most people hide harsh truths out of embarrassment, no?

Like no-one is ever gonna tell you to your face that you're fat and need a shower, but someone on twitter might, and at least you'll know right?

Got a couple injuries that made me miss university for too long, so gotta start over from next year

Gonna get a lot of free time on my hands. Any ideas on what to do?

I mean literally idiots. I realised how incompetent they were since I was 14. Telling me dumb **** like exercise will stunt your growth so never letting me do sports. And how parties are bad so they actually made me believe that till I was 16 and realised how dumb that sounds. Seriously, i'm 21 now and every piece of "advice" they give me makes me wanna break something

I did my test the other day and the ***** failed me. Told me I turned left from the right lane.

So the story is that i'm in the right lane dedicated to turning right and literally 20 metres from the traffic lights with literally no space on the left lane she says "turn left". So I'm ******* stupid enough to actually listen to this ***** and try to switch lanes and I'm pretty sure I switch to the left lane then turn left, but she gives me a serious fault saying i was in the wrong lane the whole time.

I accept the fail cos it was a dodgy manoeuvre in the first place, but she KNEW i was in a dedicated lane going right and told me to go left. Then at the end she says if i turned right i would've passed.

So literally the only way to pass would've been to specifically not listen to her and go right instead of left

Was this not the definition of baiting me into a fail?

I'm so confused and pissed off at this point. You make John Watson an Asian woman wtf? You make Human Torch a black guy... you express outrage when Iron Fist isn't played by a chinese dude. You even make Hermione Granger black. What the actual **** is going?! A character is personality and ******* appearance and ethnicity, so how does changing gender and ethnicity make any sense? Why can't they just make NEW women heroes and Asian heroes? Why is there a need to force feed multi cultural/ sexual equality and in the process change preexisting characters that we all like?

and fyi i'm Asian in case some *** wants to accuse me of racism etc.

My little brother is 14 and skinny as ****. His arms are literally like broomsticks. I tell him to start working out now so he can grow up and get good strength and size as an adult. But he's one of those guys that thinks weightlifting will stunt your growth and that the muscle will make him look like a giant gorilla. wtf do you do with that kind of ignorance?

My bank is closed so I'd have to go to another town. Is there an easier way of depositing cash?

I always wondered because they're very necessary and surely not all of them are made of people that do it as a last resort?

I swear she's determined to make me fat lol. It's so hard to say no, especially when I see how much food she's cooked. Is this a thing with grandparents in general? Because some of my friends say they have the same thing

As in, is it considered a crime to not let the authorities know?
