I doubt Obama is going to free 50 million people in 2 countries like Bush did. If freeing people of TYRANNICAL Dictatorships is not enough what will Obama do? Serve up Israel to the Arabs? That will make the terrorists happy and reboot relations.

Is the Obama pardon list starting already? Who is number 2 going to be? Rahm Emanuel? Jesse Jackson jr?

It seems like they want to strip Rod "GoAwayAvich" of his powers even before a trial. They are accusing him of not being mentally stable without a diagnosis. Why is it ok for Dems to do this to their own, yet terrorists that tried to kill our troops need trials and deserve rights?

Ayers/Dohrn, Rezko, Wright, Pflager, Blagojevich, Khalidi, Chicago Machine Politicians. How many does it take for you people to realize that Obama is as scummy as the company he keeps?

It seems to me that the Dems have taken away another right of the people and of the businesses. The owner should decide if its in the best interest of his business to allow smoking or not. You are free not to participate in business with them if you are against the policy. Where did the freedom of choice go?

Why did crime and murder skyrocket in DC when they invoked their ban? Why did crime DROP when Florida loosened their restrictions? It seems the Dems do not have facts on their side.

JIM JOHNSON? Johnson hired as a Senior Obama Finance Advisor and was selected to run Obama's Vice Presidential Search Committee

Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae's accounting activities.

Tim Howard - Was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard "was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a "stable pattern of earnings" at Fannie. In everyday English - he was cooking the books.

Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae. Johnson's Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

It seems to me that was a huge blunder. If Not, it was a HUGE lie. Either way, is this the man that should be the President's Adviser?

Why or Why Not?

I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I traveled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.

Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.

That is the reason for the financial collapse. NOT Bush. I saw Bush trying multiple times to reform Fannie and Freddie. McCain did too. I saw Raines cooking the Books and Barney Frank saying its a sound investment. Other Dems chastising Republicans for wanting reform. Were the Republicans correct? You Libs will not admit it.

Should there be a law to prevent this? Or is it just in poor taste? It's not exactly my idea of a stocking stuffer for someone who's stocking got stuffed.

It costs US companies more money to produce goods and services than foreign counterparts. Our goods are taxed higher going into other countries than their goods are coming over here. It seems unfair that the standard isn't the same for everyone.

It seems to me that Unions and Gov. interfering will private business is the problem.

Babies are evil and murderers need sympathy? It doesn't make sense.

AP Reports that Saxby Chambliss won the Georgia Senate Runoff. Even if Franken wins there is no possibility for the Veto Proof Senate now. Will Obama have serious problems pushing his agenda through?
