  • Does anyone have a baked bean recipe for a slow cooker?

I am looking for an easy recipe for baked beans for the crockpot. I used to have one that was just canned pork -n- beans, some onion, brown sugar and I think mustard. Can you share a recipe of your own that you have served? Preferably nothing with molasses. I have made all the trip to the grocery I want to this week! lol

I lost my recipe! I wanted to make a potato casserole for Easter. There will be at least 10 people there. It was not a mashed potato recipe, but more like scalloped. Any ideas? Looking for something to make ahead and heat that morning. No big amounts of cheese either.

  • Has anyone had experience with a dog's cherry eye?

We have an 8 month old rat terrier female, Melody, who looks like she may be starting a cherry eye. It's not red yet, but I am concerned. I thought those usually started in older dogs. I am completely strapped for cash right now, but heard you could try a home remedy. Massage gently daily with eyelid closed, antibiotic ointment and warm compress. Has anyone heard of this or had success of them clearing up on their own? I can save up some money in a couple weeks, but want some advice from experienced dog owners.

  • How to help brother/sister get along better?

My daughter, 13, has the hardest time getting along with her older brother, 17, and vice versa. Some people say to stay out of their arguments. Some say to intervene. Well, I do both. For the most part, they get along. Spring break was a week long and they were very pleasant to each other. Back to school, back to the bickering. I am an only child, now 40, so tell me about your sibling relationships pls ---
