I am making baked macaroni and cheese, but the recipe calls for 2 cups of milk. I have under that and just don't want to make the trip to get another gallon. Can I use evaporated milk? I have 2 cans of that and about a cup of Vit D milk.

I have a Toshiba Satellite 17 inch laptop. The last cooling fan we had stopped working. It was plastic, flat and attached to the bottom of the laptop. It had 4 little fans, but stopped working. How are the cooling pads? What's your opinion of the best ones out there?

We have an 8 month old rat terrier female, Melody, who looks like she may be starting a cherry eye. It's not red yet, but I am concerned. I thought those usually started in older dogs. I am completely strapped for cash right now, but heard you could try a home remedy. Massage gently daily with eyelid closed, antibiotic ointment and warm compress. Has anyone heard of this or had success of them clearing up on their own? I can save up some money in a couple weeks, but want some advice from experienced dog owners.
