T. Brady or A. Bradshaw as keeper?
I'm in a PPR keeper league. I can keep Brady with the 19th pick (2nd round) or A. Bradshaw with a 78th (7th round) pick. Brady is a stud who puts up impressive numbers and I anticipate he'll do so this year as well. However, Bradshaw isn't a bad pick secured so late in the draft. Thoughts? I have to pick one. I'm keeping Shaun Greene in a later round (10th round)as well, so I could potentially have my RB's lined up nicely.
5 AnswersFantasy Sports10 years agoWould you trade Torain for Ward?
PPR league. I would be giving up Torain (Wash) and getting Ward (Pitt). Thoughts?
4 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho do I start? Shonn Greene or Ahmad Bradshaw?
Greene vs. Baltimore Def on Monday night or Bradshaw vs. Carolina on Sunday?
1 AnswerFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho should I franchise? Fitzgerald or Turner?
I have to keep one. PPR league. Normally, I'd think that Fitz is a shoe in, but with Boldin gone and Leinart behind center I am concerned that Fitz's value will take a hit. Michael Turner seems to be set up for a good year. Thoughts?
4 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoOne RB: C. Wells, T. Jones or J. Snelling?
Need your thoughts on which RB to start? Normally, Thomas Jones would be an easy decision, but he is playing the Patriots and only put up 54 yds against them in their last meeting.
C. "Beanie" Wells could have a decent day vs. a lax St. Louis defense, so he is a tempting start even when sharing carries with Hightower.
Justin Snelling is a long shot as Turner's replacement vs. a stout Giants run defense. But, he'll get the touches.
Who would you start?
3 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoShould I start Eddie Royal?
PPR league and return yards count.
Jacoby Jones (WR - Hou) or Eddie Royal (WR - Den)
I drafted Royal high due to his return yards and reception potential. Up until last week he hasn't performed AT ALL... including on the return yards.
Jones isn't really part of the offense anymore, but he has been steady on the return yards making him reliable.
I want to see Royal perform more consistently before starting him, but all reports project him having another big game on Monday night. I'm not convinced, but could use advice. McDaniel said that Royal caught all of those passes last week due to the coverage that NE was showing... so whose to say that SD will do the same on Monday night?
Thoughts? Greatly appreciate it!
1 AnswerFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho would you franchise? TO or LJ?
Standard points league plus one point per reception. I lose my pick for the round in which I picked my franchise player in last years draft.
Larry Johnson was my first round and TO was my seventh round. Therefore, if I keep TO I only lose a seventh round pick. If I stick with LJ I lose my first round pick.
I'm leaning towards TO b/c he posted great numbers last year and will give me a decent shot at repicking LJ in the first round (or someone else just as valuable). However, LJ is LJ even though he had an injury prone year. I am also concerned that the Chiefs line will not be enough to get him the yards for this year.
Please share your thoughts! Thank you!
2 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoRB Help for championship?
Standard points plus points per reception. AND... return yards.
Pick 2: F. Taylor and MJD, K. Smith, A. Stecker, Ahmad Bradshaw.
Taylor and MJD may not play... K Smith has a great matchup as does Stecker. Although Stecker may be injured? A. Bradshaw gets return yards (or atleast has), which make me lean towards him. Any advice?
Also, with the late championship on Week 17 I am out of my starting WR's as well. I have a few options in mind but if you have any sleeper players please share.
Thank you to all and I will be sure to pick the best reponse for that "coveted" 10 point bonus.
5 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho would you start at RB?
Championship weekend... Fred Taylor and MJD @ Houston, E. Graham @ Carolina, K. Smith @ Jets, A. Stecker @ Chicago or Ahmad Bradshaw vs. New England? Points per reception, return yards and standard scoring. Pick 2.
I'm concerned that Taylor and MJD will not play. Also concerned that Graham will not play either. If you have any advice please advise!
4 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho to start at RB?
Kolby Smith vs. Tennessee, LenDale White @ KC or Aaron Stecker vs. Arizona. I am leaning towards White with his matchup at KC, but I'm concerned about his inconsistency. Smith could run into a tough run defense against Tenn. Stecker has a great matchup, but who knows what to expect after only one week of starting. Your thoughts are much appreciated. Playoff week 1, so I need to good starter.
3 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoMcNabb or Cutler?
I am probably going to start Cutler, but wanted to get some feedback on McNabb for this week? My thoughts are that he is still injured and against a staunch NYG defense that shut him down last time they met. Do you agree or disagree? Would probably start McNabb under any other circumstances, but the injuries, lack of play for the past two weeks and the matchup have me thinking it's wise to bench him for Cutler. Thank you for your thoughts.
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoAny objections to my RB starters?
I am starting K. Smith (vs. SD) and E. Graham (@NO) over L. White (vs. HOU) and M. Morris (@ PHI). Morris and White have not been consistent and White (especially has killed me) has been unproductive for the past 3 weeks. I wanted to start Smith last week, but went against my gut feeling to start him and opted to start White to wait and see what Smith would do. And, I lost my matchup last week b/c of it.
Any objections? Standard scoring plus point per reception.
7 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoKolby Smith or LenDale White?
Who would you start? Standard scoring plus point per reception. Smith could have a breakout game playing Oakland at home, but White has a great matchup at Cinci. However, White hasn't done much in the past two weeks and Smith hasn't proven anything yet. Your thoughts are appreciated.
4 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho would you start at RB?
Kolby Smith vs. Oak, Maurice Morris at St. Lou, Ernest Graham vs. Wash and LenDale White at Cinci. Pick two. Standard points plus points per reception.
I'm leaning towards Morris due to the matchup at St. Lou., but I also like Smith to have a breakout first-start game at home vs. Oak. White also has a decent matchup, which is why I have such a dilemma. Thank you for your opinion!
4 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoHolmes or Graham?
Who would you start? Standard points plus points per reception. Thanks in advance for your answers.
5 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho would you start at RB?
Pick three: L. White, K. Jones, P. Holmes, S. Jackson and B. Jacobs. Kind of a toss up, eh? Standard scoring.
Thanks!
10 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoGalloway or Harrison?
Thank you to all who responded to my previous question, which leads me to my next inquiry. If M. Harrison plays this week would you start him instead of Galloway? I like Galloway's chances against the AZ defense, but he seems to be TB's only weapon and I'm concerned he will be double-teamed. Thoughts? Much appreciated.
3 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoWho would you start?
I need to fill my flex spot. Standard soring plus one point per reception. At this moment, I am starting Galloway and TO at WR. My options for my flex spot are E. Graham vs. Arizona, L. White vs. Carolina (who is giving up 3rd most points to RB's), and M. Harrison vs. NE. If need be, I can move around my starting WR's as well. Just need some good input. Thank you for your advice!
7 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoThoughts on Jones-Drew or Taylor?
So Jones-Drew is listed as questionable and I have Fred Taylor available to start if need be. I've done as much research as possible and I can't seem to find a any solid conslusions that MJD will not play or will be limited in play.
However, return yards count in my league which makes MJD quite valuable. If he does play and is limited to his touches would you still start him? I have no idea if he'll be limited on kickoff returns as well due to the injury. This may be a decision that will not be made until gameplay begins so I need to make a decision on who to start. Taylor or MJD? Your opinion is greatly appreciated especially if you have any "inside" scoops on the extent of his injury.
1 AnswerFantasy Sports1 decade agoFlex spot?
Galloway, Ernest Graham, or LenDale White? I'm thinking Galloway is the way to go. Points per reception to boot.
