  • Sony HX30V vs Canon SX260 vs Panasonic ZS20?

I need a digital camera that can take good pictures, but most importantly have good HD video capability with excellent zoom that doesn't mess up quality.

    I've narrowed it down to:

    - Sony HX30V

    - Canon SX260

    - Panasonic ZS20

I'm planning to mount the camera on a hat and record my target shooting. I need to be able to record small clay targets moving fast and far.

This is how I want the camera mounted:

HD video capability is really important here since I will be turning my head a lot and I need to be able to see something small moving away from me quickly.

  • Advantage of camcorders over cameras with hd video?

Compact digital cameras have hd video capabilities now, so what is the advantage that compact camcorders over compact digital cameras?

And is there a head strap/band for compact digital cameras?

Do action camera head strap/bands fit compact digital cameras (Lumix, Power shot, Cyber shot, etc.)?

I don't want action cameras because most don't have a decent zoom without messing up quality.

  • Head strap/band for compact digital cameras?

I'm looking for a head band or head strap that can fit compact digital cameras like Canon Power shot, Sony Cyber shot, Panasonic Lumix. What are some of them?

Or can they be mounted on action camera head straps like Go Pro or Contour?

    I don't want action cameras.

I need a decent zoom function that doesn't mess up the quality and most action cameras don't have one, so I want a digital camera mounted instead.

  • Help, my peacock bass isn't eating.?

I recently got a 1.5 - 2 inch peacock bass and it seems too shy to eat the pellets I give it.

I was thinking of putting either crickets or wax worms in there to get it to eat.

And how do I train it to eat dry foods?

  • Do girls go out with guys who are not quite on equal footing with them?

What I mean is if let's say a girl has over a 4.0 GPA, does sports and community service (holding donation drives, etc), will she date a boy who is not quite on equal footing with her?

Let's say this boy is similar to her, but not completely equal - he also has over a 4.0 GPA, but not as high, does some sports and some community service, but not as much as she does.

As a guy, I feel unworthy because this girl seems to do better than me in MOST areas. Will girls look down on guys like me or will they see me as their peer? Do girls respect success over everything else like I do? I admit that I've looked down on people who don't do as well as I do, but do girls do the same thing?

    FYI, we're in high school.

  • How does she feel after I told her this?

One of my friends (a girl that I never really talked to) said she wanted to be a FBI agent over Facebook (It was career day, and she visited the room where the agent went).

I said something similar to this: "If you don't mind seeing gory crime scenes and mutilated bodies (like the one below), then you can go right ahead."

This is the link I was referring to:

    http://msp133.photobucket.com/albums/q79/evilbigre...

The post was later deleted, but I don't know exactly why. Although I can't tell if she's angry or disgusted, it doesn't SEEM like she (or most girls) can take criticism.

So, I need help deciphering why she deleted my post and how she feels.

  • What should I do to fix my social problem?

Back in fifth grade, (as strange as it sounds) I had been stalked by girls. I had only moved into that school after winter break, and this started a couple weeks after I transferred. My reaction was to avoid them. This reaction quickly turned into a habit.

When I entered another school, I knew that the girls there were not stalkers. So I tried to break the habit, but I was unsuccessful. This brings me to another reason why I avoided the girls at that school and the one I currently attend: I had very little to say other than "hi" or "hello" to them. I had not really talked to girls for a very long time, so I did not know what to say to break the silence.

When I mentioned all of this to a girl that I just know (not too well though), I told her, simply, that ever since fifth grade, I avoided girls because they stalked me. I forgot to mention that it was the HABIT that caused me to avoid people at my last school and the one I currently attend. She must have assumed that I avoided girls because I thought they were all stalkers, because she probably took offense to it. I think she took offense to it because she took me off her friends list in facebook, and I think she also blocked me as well.

So what should I do to fix my problem?

  • Wouldn't banning abortion be slavery?

Slavery is forcing another person to work or be subservient to another person.

Taking care of something would be considered working; such as a doctor taking care of his/her patients or a zoo keeper taking care of animals.

So taking care of an unborn baby is also working (avoiding miscarriage, monitoring health, etc.). If the woman does not want to take care of the baby, yet abortion is illegal, then wouldn't it be enslavement to force the woman to care for something she does not want?

Here's an analogy to clarify what I'm saying:

Person A enters person B's house. Person A declares that almost the entire house now belongs to him; as well as the belongings and his girlfriend. Person B must also take care of Person A. If Person B attempts to stop taking care of Person A, then he will be arrested.

Connection between analogy and main concept:

Person A represents the fetus who takes up space and resources (food, money, care, etc.)

    Person B represents the woman.

    House represents the womb.

Person B's girlfriend represents everything a woman once enjoyed before being pregnant.

  • Since neither Obama nor McCain are the smartest people in the country, why elect either of them? ?

Instead, why not elect intellectually gifted people or geniuses? Why not find an American - born, politically savvy person from MENSA ( an organization consisting only of gifted children and geniuses that are smarter than 98% of the population ) and elect him/her as president?

The people there are the smartest and most educated in the world, and their problem solving skills are unquestionable.
