My girlfriend's depressed from a traumatic event that happened to her when she was younger. I've been with her for about 8 months now and I still don't really know what to do. I listen to her and comfort her and she's been on anti depressants for around 5 years now. She just started taking a different type of anti depressant recently and it seems to be helping a bit. I don't want her on drugs her whole life, but I don't want her depressed either. I just want her to be better, I know it takes time but what can I do in the mean time?

Me and my girlfriend started dry humping just within a few months and things are getting pretty close to sex. I want sex obviously being a male and she's told me she does too, but only when she's horny she does. When she's not horny she doesn't want any of that. My girlfriend had a traumatic experience when she was younger and now suffers from depression. Sometimes when were alone things just lead from one thing to another and I didn't buy any protection just so I know I wouldn't go all the way and she isn't on the pill. We keep dry humping a little bit and she knows she likes it and wants to be okay with it. She usually cries after a little bit because I know that deep down she isn't okay with it. She wants to be okay with it and I want to make sure she is before we do anything. It's all really confusing and I just don't know what to do.
