i have a good amount of live plants in my tank ive spent close to 100$ in just plants alone tank size is 29 gallons.... so the plants i just got happen to have snail eggs... how do i get rid of them fast and 100% gone WITH OUT KILLING MY PLANTS! the fish i can care less about since they didn't cost much... can any one recommend a product that will kill the snails and not my live plants. also the snails are just little black snails idk what kind they are but can i just smash them? i heard that if you smash them they drop more eggs.... and makes it worse

i have a 4 socket t5 bulb hood that's 24 inches... right now i have a 6500 k light in there and another one that it didn't say on the box i just got it on sale for 4$ XD. any ways i was gona get rid of the 4 socket light fixture and get a 2 socket because i think 4 lights would be way to many for my 29 gallon tank... so i plan to have this tank with LOTS OF PLANTS right now its about a medium planted tank and i plan to have discus( yes i know how to take care of discus)

and i do have 2 of the plastic c02 injectors.... would be awesome if you can recommend a web sight or were i can get a better c02 injector for my size tank and a 2 socket t5 bulb hood for 30 inches across in length

so back to my question what are the 2 BEST kelvin rating lights or lights in general that i should use for my 29 gallon fish tank

were can i buy moss netting to tie it to a rock or drift wood? in chula vista CA i cant find any stores that sell it the closest thing that i have found ends up having some kind of glue that can possibly kill my fish

so i have about 23 tetras in a planted 29 gallon fish tank i wanted to know if i should use the medication for ick but i dont know if its going to kill my plants personaly id rather have the fish die then to have the plants die because the plants cost like 10 times more than the fish. so say i leave my tank untreated and i do water changes more often would that help, or should i just use the medication

i have a 29 gallon planted tank i Guess it would be a medium planted tank right now but i plan to add more plants as i go right now i have a normal t8 hood with the aqua life glo 6700k light in it and i have the natural plant c02 system. now my question is what light should i get heres some links to what i was thinking of

this first one would be what i would get because of its price and i was told double t5 light fixtures were the best way to go only thing is i dont know if its a legit web sight or a sight were they steal ur money

ive been reading about lighting on planted tanks and most websights say that its 2 watts per gallon and all the lights at petstores are 24 watts so for a 30 gallon tank how do i get 60 wats from a light bulb thats only 24 watts... do i just have to buy a 2 socket light hood and use 2 light bulbs or what

so im starting a plant tank i would like to know what is the best bulb. i had always thought the higher the kelvin the better but as i did more research alot of people say that 6,700k and 6,500k are the best for plants so should i buy the power glo light with 18k or the life glo with 6.7k

i have this turtle that a friend gave me its those small ones the size of a quarter i have had him in my fish tank for about 2 months and i noticed that its skin was sheding so i picked him up and i noticed that his sheding skin under it is red and looks like its bloody but not bleeding hes not eating any more whats wrong with him and is it because he dosent have his heat lamp or uv rays yet?

i have a 30 gallon tank with a few anubis plants in it i have some atached to driftwood and other slightly covered in gravel i have a light that has 18,000 kelvins and i feed them florish every week ive had them for o say 2 months and there the same size how fast are these supose to grow and how can i get them to grow faster

i just bought one it seems like it helps the plants a bit you can see when the fish are on the top half of the tank it shows there colors well but when they go low it goes away is there a light that reaches that low thats good for plants and shows the colors of the fish real well i have a 30 gallon

i have 30 gallon fish tank with about 4 sword plants and 3 bunches of like fuzzy looking plants idk what there called but i have them in sand i just bought a good plant light that has 18,000 kelvins but i dont have a c02 injector should i get one or can i do more water changes instead cause they are prety expensive or is there anything else i can get.. i also have the chemical thats like a food sorce but the swords when i got them were kind of dying since its hard to find perfectly healthy ones around were i live i got it but they seem to be getting worse what am i doing wrong

i need some advice i bought some plants for my tank there under sand i know it is good to use substrate instead but i use the chemacal that feeds plants the guy at the pet store says that i could use that its just not as good as the substrate so i been using that but my plants are starting to deteriorate more idk what to do

i want to order a snaping turtle and a red earedslider but idk if they would get along they are babys around 2 inches and i think they would since they both are aquatic and the same size also would the snaping turtle eat a newt tadpol or frog

isnt it bad if the bank asks you to report some one that knows your pin number to the police as a suspect even though you dont suspect them like my bank card number was stolen and used so i filled out the paper and i put my gf knows the pin cause i wanted to be honest now there using that against me and they want me to make a police report sayin that shes a suspect so they want me to like to the police and say i suspect her isent that against the law?
