What is in a Lava Lamp?
Gotta Lava lamp at a garage sale.It's down about an inch of fluid from the top.What would I add to it?
I have searched the internet,and even called the poison control hot-line,but can't get a definitive answer of what to add.Water,sodium chloride(salt),mineral oil and wax.Not sure if this is correct.If so,what would be the proportions.I have plenty of wax,so we can eliminate that.
It's a dollar lava lamp,be that as it may,I don't wanna destroy my yard sale score.This has become more of a quest for the solution(no pun intended) rather that a mere decor repair.I would greatly appreciate your input.Thanx...Joe
