Why do i have swollen Lymph nodes in side of neck?
Before Christmas i noticed that i could feel my gland in the right side of my neck, yet couldn t feel the one in my left. I figured i might be getting sick and my energy levels have dropped and i ve felt so sluggish and tired of late. Two months ago i developed a bad case of the flu, despite the fact that i ve had the flu jab. Two months late i can feel four enlarged lymph nodes in the right side of my neck and can even feel one around my collar bone. I am not sick aside from a water infection that i can t seem to shake off.
I've done a lot of research of lumps and they always come back to cancer, particularly Hodgkin s with my symptoms. I'm not scared to go to the doctors, but i know they ll send me away with the same old speech of You are too young to get cancer If the lumps grow larger i will definitely visit the doctor. Has anyone had swollen nodes without sickness symptoms?

1 AnswerRespiratory Diseases6 years agoLump in groin area?
A couple weeks ago while doing a lump check, i noticed a small round lump at the crease of my thigh and general vagina area, about an inch away from my stomach, on the left hand side. Around my hip flexor. It seems to be attached to a muscle or bone. it does not feel like a lymph node but it very hard. Today, feeling again for the first time in a few days i noticed it feels a little bigger.
Does anyone have any idea of what it could be? I m not in pain.

1 AnswerCancer6 years agoDogs bark is high pitched?
On Friday my dog was very ill, crying all night and vomiting. We took her to the vet after two days but the vet sent her home with a strong anti sickness injection. She is getting better now, will run around and play. I finally got her to bark an hour ago but it's a lot higher than normal. Does she have a sore throat? My other two dogs are fine, and so are we.
3 AnswersDogs6 years agoDog keeps whining?
I have three dog, all very playful. My youngest is just over one years old, up to date on jabs, worming and fleeing.
Yesterday she was extremely hyper all morning. Then all of a sudden flopped onto the sofa in the afternoon and slept the entire time. She responded to our call yet didn't lick our faces as she usually would when we got near her. She is a toy poodle.
Last night i woke at four am to her whining next to me. She wasn't shaking and didn't seem to be in pain anywhere. Then she threw up quite a lot. Her faeces is normal. Today she has been extremely lethargic but stopped being sick after i got some chicken stock diluted in water down her throat. She hasn't eaten. She continued to whine some during today, but unlike the night before grew excited when someone came through the door.
She wont eat regular dog food much. So i often switch up her meals. The night before she ate some Tuna, and a couple beef meatballs. Food has never really effected her much, and she's never been ill. I think she's a little shaken up lol. If she isn't better by tomorrow night i will book her into the vet.
Does anyone know what could be wrong. It is not bloat. I have kept an eye on her and her stomach is fine. Her sickness has stopped as well as her crying.
3 AnswersDogs6 years agoIs it illegal for my boss to pay me by check?
I work part time, two days a week and down't earn a lot at all, today I was given my first check with a note showing my hours and adding up of numbers. No tax deduction is included in my payment. If I'm not paying tax am I in the wrong. Or is my boss for not deducting it out of my wages?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoIs CIN hereditary?
A lot of people within my family have had and have died from all different types of Cancer. My dad had a lump removed from his balls. And my mother had a hysterectomy after discovering that she had CIN2 on her cervix. I'm twenty one, and a few years away from my first pap smear. Do i have to worry about cancer before hand, or CIN?
I've also had a lump removed, but that was from my breast.

5 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agoHeart starts beating really fast, Why?
I'm nineteen and healthy. I exercise and eat right. I'm asthmatic as well.
The past few days out of nowhere i get what feels like a dropping sensation from my throat to my chest and my heart starts beating hard and fast. It's not painful, i can feel the thud and it sort of makes my chest cold.
Does anyone have any idea what this is??
I'm going to go to the doctors next week if it carries on.
2 AnswersHeart Diseases8 years agoJust found another lump ?
I'm 19 and recently had a lump in my breast. I had my lump removed a few weeks later and the results proved nothing serious. I now have just found a lump the same size that was in my breast in my lower back towards the right hip. Is it worth going back to the doctors??
Since a misdiagnosis at our doctors practice, anyone with lumps is referred to a hospital. I don't want to go through the biopsy's again or the operation. I especially don't want to put it all on my family again. Is it worth leaving ?? Is it normal to get lumps in your back ??
Thank you
5 AnswersCancer8 years agoWhy is my dog is walking with a limp ?
A few days ago about two hours after bringing my dog back from a walk, she started to walk with a slight limp. I checked all over her leg feeling and slightly squeezing. She didn't cry and nothing felt different. I checked her paw for cuts. There appears to be a slight graze, no bleeding at all. I don't see how this could hurt her. Although my dog is quite dramatic in a way. When she's not feeling right she might as well have man flu.
She's three and a miniature poodle. When checking her bad leg i found some eczema which she gets a couple of times a year. I don't see how this could affect her leg either. She doesn't appear to be in any pain apart from the limp. Today for most of the day she has been fine. Walking and running without a limp, then tonight she started again. We are trying to stop her running and make her rest. She's not being sick, her feces is normal, she's eating and drinking. We are taking her to the vets when they re open after Christmas.
Has she pulled a muscle?. I've tried looking for something stuck in the pads of her paws but i see nothing.
Should i wait a little longer to see if the limp disappears, or just get her to the vet as soon as possible.
I hate seeing her like this. Does anyone know what it could be??. I've moved the leg about and tested the bones, there is nothing wrong. Not even the paw. All i can assume is that there is something hurting her pads.
Thank you for any answers.
Merry Christmas
8 AnswersDogs8 years agoIs it illegal to have a guard dog ?
So basically i was at this mans farm working with my dad and brother. As we approached the gate we heard a dog barking. As we drove by the dog was chained to a post and snarling and barking trying to reach us. (Literally saliva hanging from his mouth) It was a German Shepard. He also had loads of other dogs chained up and barking. They were grubby and weren't loved at all.
The German Shepard was the worst. My dad complained about the noise the dog was making so the man went to it. Grabbed it by the collar and had to drag it away from us and lock it into a horse barn. It looked so evil, the man laughed it off and said he used the dog for protection he'd raised it to attack anyone who got onto the farm.
I love dogs and hated seeing it mistreated.
Is it even legal to put a dog through that? To keep a dog for protection?
Would you call the RSPCA on the man ? If so what would happen to the poor dogs? Would he loose all his other animals?
10 AnswersDogs9 years agoWhy is my dog suddenly attacking my other dog?
So i have two miniature poodles.three years old. One girl and one boy. They are brother and sister and the girl is spayed. They have always played together and got on really well. My boy is really active and always playing ball, my girl more of a lap dog. My girl has lately taken to playing ball and often taking my boys ball. He seems to get a little jealous with it. But every so often when he gets certain treats and he sees my girl hanging around he will growl at her some times like tonight I've given them a piece of ham and he just suddenly pounced on her snarling and making her cry. i quickly took him off and away and told him no.
I've noticed he doesn't actually bite her just seems to scare her. Afterwards they are completely fine and running around playing again.
Does anyone know what might be wrong with him?
When he starts to growl now i take away the treat completely until they can share without him becoming territorial.
6 AnswersDogs9 years agoCan i opt for local anesthetic during surgery ?
I am having a simple breast lump removal in a couple of days. My appointment is at midday. I don't want to go through the hassle of being put to sleep, and I don't want to have to stay the night in a hospital. I just want to be in and out. Also i think it would be pretty cool to watch. With such a simple surgery. Would they consider letting me choose to stay awake??
4 AnswersPain & Pain Management9 years agoWhy are they removing my breast lump?
So i recently posted a question about my breast lump. I'm 19. I've had a biopsy, in fact they took two because the doctor missed the first time. I had my test results back yesterday after i saw a consultant. Who assured me the lump was nothing serious, not even a little harmful. The tests showed nothing harmful although the consultant believed there was not enough tissue removed to determine what the lump actually was. She told me they were expecting it to be a fibro-something. The tests didn't show it. She told me they were going to remove the lump through minor surgery. All the while telling me she was 90 percent sure they lump was nothing to worry about. What the hell is that about! Do they really need to remove it? Wont a simple biopsy again with a doctor with good aim to get enough tissue to test again be more simple?
Oh an does anyone know if i will be put under local antithetic or be put to sleep?
3 AnswersCancer9 years agoWhy do i have to go and see a consultant after breast biopsy?
I'm nineteen and have recently found a lump. I went and saw my GP who assured me it was nothing serious, but it was standard protocol to send me to the hospital for a biopsy. The doctor there also assured me she didn't think it was anything serious. I was referred to a consultant. It's been a few weeks since my biopsy so clearly nothing is serious. Couldn't they just phone me and tell me the tests were negative. What will the consultant do?? I'm seeing them tomorrow.
