As of today all 9 puppies are vomiting and have brownish slimy diarrhea. But 8 are still in good spirits. I have one that over a period of 4 hours has had extreme vomiting and really watery fowl smelling diarrhea. and in this time frame up to now has significant loss of body weight. he now will not eat or drink and just lays there. the other 6 puppies like i said are still acting the same as they were a week ago with just mild diarrhea. the other 2 puppies act fine no diarrhea or vomiting today. i administered the puppy 1st set booster this past sunday and have been wormed following directions or the worm er since 2 weeks of age. I have a feeling its PARVO. =( any advise to limit the loss of my liter. with step by step directions. I would take my babies to there vet but if my suspicions are correct there is only 30-40% survival rate and i can do same treatment @ home for so much less money! I just need help please!!! I really don't want to loose any of my babies... More info: They dried the dam up at 3 weeks of age so had to put them on puppy mush which included Science diet large breed food in a water/puppy Replacement milk 6 times a day with a finger tip full of nutir-cal once a day, today they eat 4 times a day same brand food slight softened and a finger tip of nutri-cal once a day! PLEASE HELP ME my babies are sick and i need major advise!! also Is the dam of the liter able to contract this virus? she is 3 years old and current on all shots. I also have a 5 year old yellow nape amazon parrot can he be affected by any of this??
