Jim Rome was talking about the possibility of it becoming a reality a few minutes ago. The Rays have been hit by injury, and well it seems as though Bonds is a viable option. He can still play...so he says..., and yeah he may be a cancer to the clubhouse, but he is going to be making the minimum, if he starts to play by his "own" rules the Rays can just cut him.

another year of varsity football is going to start, I got my helmet yesterday, and it hit me that I'm not going to college for football and it's very time consuming, on the other hand I love cracking people and its my last year with these guys....should i play next year?

I'm making a bold prediction and I'm going to say he will be the most accurate shooter from behind the arc once he finishes his career.

Yeah he doesn't play much, but he's going to be such a big threat from the outside for years to come it will make Monta Ellis, Baron Davis, Brandan Wright, and Andris Biedrins much better in their own right.

inconsistent? Okay they have a tough job and catch a lot of crap from players and coaches, but they are supposed to be the "God" like figures in the NBA. Nobody likes the games where 15 fouls are called against one team in the first half and then flip the script and do it to the other team in the second half, it's just absurd. to the Bears? Their offense is going to be horrible. Their top two receivers in Bernard Berrian and Mushin Muhammad have moved on, Brian Griese was the leading passer last year with well below average numbers(and they are so desperately trying to trade him), and Cedric Benson who hasn't blossomed yet was their leading rusher. Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton are going to be fighting for a spot which neither will have success in. Briggs could have found much more money else where and he could have played with a better offense. The Bears don't have a balance between Offense and Defense. The Defensive side of the ball is good, but doesnt playing with a contender with a solid offense sound good? Can anyone explain why he resigned with the Bears please?
