My gas gauge has been broken in my Chevy Trailblazer for over a year... I have been ok with filling it up every 300 miles and have never run out of gas until today! It's colder out so I run it to heat up and today it ran out at 260 miles...

What does something like this cost for repair? Is it a simple fix?

I washed and dried some bullets accidently. Nothing happened but I am wondering if 1. Could something happen? 2. Can I still use them?

I have 14 Mth old twin boys. The older one likes to bite his brother. now I Babysit a 20 Mth old and he bit her twice, he bites me when I wash dishes(bites my leg) or even if I am sitting down. I have said no a million times, I have even ignored him and gave the victim lots of hugs and kisses in front of him. I even bit him back once.(he laughed at me) the doctor told me to cover his mouth for 30 seconds every time he bites. I did that for 2 weeks straight. (He laughs at me) its so hard I really feel like I am stuck. Those little teeth are Sharp and they hurt. Any ideas?

I noticed a tick on the little girl I Babysit. I called her mom and she didnt seem as concerned as me. said she would remove it herself when she came in got her. It looks like this tick has been there a while. Am I overreacting? I guess if it was one of my children I would take them to the doctors to have it removed.

So there is this job that wants to do a pre employment background check.

Which I am not to sure about.

1. They didn't offer me the job yet!

2. They didn't tell me the pay! Said they couldn't yet!

3. They want to check my personal bank acct info and credit background!

Which is a total mess now. Seeing I don't work and haven't since May and nothing is getting paid with no $$$ coming in...

4. This is a cell phone company that wants me to do this. Not a big chain one either. what would they need to know all this personal stuff about me for? This isn't some goverment job! The really strange thing is they don't even do credit checks for those that buy cell phones. they don't even do contracts for there customers its cash or nothing.

So why all the personal info from me?

5. They need to verify that I am not lying about where I went to HIGH SCHOOL! Now you are talking over 15 years ago. Why do they care!

6. How much I got paid from previous employer. Why is this there Business?

7. They want a copy of my last pay stub.. LOL.. Couldn't tell ya how to get one of those... I will NOT contact my previous employer that I worked for.

What should I do?

Do I give them my s.s. # not knowing what the pay is and if the job is even possibly mine...

I can't find any info about background checks and if it is safe to give them this info...

My husband and I are way over our heads in debt. Ya i know we should have been more careful spending. But a few things have happened in the last couple of years.

1. Death in the family that we paid for.

2. My husband broke his back in 3 places two months after the death and was out of work for about 4 months.

3. We took custody of a third child to help a family member and all she came to us with was a small suit case of clothes!

We had to buy a bed and clothes and spend extra $$$ on utilty bills etsc...

The interest rates are getting higher and higher and higher every month because we can't even afford to pay the min.
