I'm am pretty much an average, 17 year old guy,I'd say I'm fairly nice too people, I guess I can be shy though. I'm honestly fed up with being single though. I have never had a gf in my entire life. Its taking a toll on me too. I guess I shouldn't let that happen, but Its a reality. I guess the question is what am I doing wrong I dont get it. For the most part when I ask girls out, I've gotten to know them first, they all making up bs though of why the cant. Please give helpful answers, otherwise don't waste my time with your stupid sh!t.

Well, there's this kid who invited me to over for his birthday. He's a pretty cool dude the problem is he's 13 and I'm 17 and he invited me for a sleepover. I dont really feel comfortable doing that , I've known him since he was like 3 and I'll be the only person at his little gig. I am probably getting him a gift but I dont know about the sleepover part...its kind of weird. I know he'd be upset if I didnt though, what should I do? serious answers please, and btw, the thing is tommorow.

I am beginning to worry that I am becoming too boring of a person. When I am around people I tend to be pretty quite. When I say something people kind of just nod and walk away. My voice is fairly monotone. It feels unnatural when I try to talk lively. I usually don't hold conversations. They tend to usually go like this.

For all of you guitar players...I just started and I've been working on pull offs, it sounds kinda crappy though when I do it. How can I perfect my technique. Oh I was also wondering how I can perform tremelo picking better too.

So there's this girl that I like. I invited her to go to the movies on saturday, and we're probably going. I want to ask her out but Idk if she likes me. She is sending me mixed signals. My friend asked her out a few months ago and she said no because he was too pushy. She kind of teases him ( not to be mean) and shows me ( and only me) pictures of her ignoring him while he is talking to her on the phone. She still hangs around him alot though and I'm not sure if she likes him or me. Also, a few months ago when we were at the movies, I kinda scooted in close to her and she didn't mind and most recently at my birthday party she was the one of the only people to give me a birthday present. Are these signs that she likes me or am i just making up escuses for her to like me? Should I wait to ask her out? If I do ask her out saturday, how and where should I ask her out? thanks for your help. oh, and serious answers please.

My last to years of high school have sucked. I might be going to college early so I want to make this upcoming year great. In the past I have kind of been a loner. I always looked pissed or depressed and I was really overweight in 9th grade and part of 10th grade ( still got a little ways to go though before I'm average). But anyways I want to make this year different than the last two. So what makes high school fun? How can I get there? I don't have that many friends there so I don't get invited to many parties. Plus because of my reputation of being a loner,pissed,and overweight I've never even had a gf. Yes I still concentrate on school for the pple who tell me not to worry about fun and worry about school. Hope you guys can help!

I don't know how education is wherever you are. But here in Virginia, we are always loaded with tests(CMS,SOLs Midterms Finals, Practice Sols, Pre CMS, Quarterly Exams). These vary greatly in difficulty. Are tests an accurate assesment of knowledge?Are these what the standards should be? Should they be higher? Or are they a waste of time. Open to all opinions.

Getting ready to go for a lunch break..I didn't bring my lunch to work and there's 2 sub places a pizza place, burger king and taco bell. I'm throwin a house party for the first time this weekend ( yea I know...sad considering that I'm 17). I don't really know what to have people do entertainment wise.
