I was at the pet store yesterday stocking up on supplies and I saw 3 strange looking creatures. The owner said they were dragon fish. They swam like a eel but I have never seen anything like this. Does anyone have any info on this species? I want to learn about this fish. It has intrigued me. Also any web sites with pictures and information would be a plus. I did a search yesterday but didn't come up with too much info.

Do some of you ever feel like picking up the computer monitor and throwing it out the window after reading some of the idiotic answers given on this site? I find myself thinking" Are some people really doing this to live animals?"

I checked my freaswater fish tank and I have very hard water. Is there something I can do to soften it a little?

Ok so my swordtails have ich.. a few spots on their tail fins and I have noticed my male betta Finnie has a few on him. He is watching his eggs in his nest. Can I treat his tank? Will it harm the eggs? Also my swordtail and my platy are pregnant and will the medication harm the fry? My betta is in a 10 gallon tank...the swordtails and other fish are in a 36 gallon tank. I also put the aquarium salt in the tanks. TIA!

I have heard that if you keep your tank at a constant 80 degrees then Ich can't survive in the tank. Is this true? Are there any ways you can help prevent fish from getting it?

My mom wants a fish tank for her birthday. Si I am getting her a 10 gallon one and she has well water but it is full of iron. Can I use this water in the tank? Or do I need cleaner water? I get my water from our spring , do I need to take some water to her for her tank? Or buy special chemicals for it? TIA!
