  • Why is my Gelish puckering?!?

I've done three at home gelish manis so far and every time it has puckered. I'm not actually using gelish polish, I'm doing foundation, top it off, REGULAR nail polish, top it off. Is it puckering because I'm not using gelish polish? Because I've tried thicker layers, thinner layers, longer cure times, and shorter cure times and they still come out puckered!

    What am I doing wrong?!

  • Does drinking milk help prevent nausea when taking Vicodin?

I was perscribed Vicodin by the ER doctor Wednesday night for a snake bite and it makes me REALLY sick to my stomach. My sister said to take it with milk because it coats the stomach and keeps you from getting sick. I've been doing it and it seems to help but I'm curious as to if there is any truth in this or am I not getting sick because I think the milk will help (mind over matter kind of thing)?

  • How long will it take this snake bite to heal? (real snake bite, not piercing)?

On Wednesday night I was bitten by a copperhead snake at 10:30. I went straight to the ER and they monitored me for a few hours and sent me home with pain meds and antibiotics so that the fang holes don't get infected. Thursday I went to class because I ha an exam but I was in a wheel chair as I cannot walk. The swelling got significantly worse, as in almost 10 cm bigger around my calf (I was bitten on the back of my left ankle, right above my heel) and I know I overdid it so I went to see my regular doctor today because the swelling is now past my knee and halfway up my thigh whereas it had only been up to right below my knee the day before. The dr at the ER seemed unconcerned and told me I could do whatever I wanted (I asked if I could tan) but that it would hurt for a few days. Now my regular doctor thinks I might have an infection and is running blood tests.

Basically, what I want to know is ha anyone else had something similar happen to them and, assuming there is no infection, how long until the swelling goes down/I can walk again?

    Sorry it's so long! :/

  • What degree should I get if I want to be a vet tech?

(Currently) I want to be a veterinary tech, but I want to get a degree because I think it is important to have a degree of some kind. As of right now, I do not want to go to school to become a vet, but I'm not saying that I won't someday change my mind. What degree should I get right now?
