Somewhere about the Triassic, I was able to achieve a BS degree in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University. My initial job was as an mine engineer at gypsum mine in Indiana. After that the rest of my career has been spent in Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering in Process Industries such as Pulp and Paper. Currently I live on the Big Island of Hawaii and am spending time studying Kilauea. Particularly its petrology and gaseous emisions.
